I haven't read the book but Alan Debus writes in Prehistoric Times from time to time. He's an old school dino enthusiast and writes a lot on dinosaurs and popular culture. He knew important American paleontologists like Edwin Colbert so has some interesting tales to tell. It'll probably be a good read, though perhaps not at the cutting edge of things.
