Hello~ :) :)

Do you think that dinosaurs are content just for children?

I'm Jin Kyeom(nickname - kongtrex), founder of Co.,Ltd.<Vitamin_Imagiantion>, a company that produced the dinosaur educational contents.

First, please note that my English is lacking.

Now, I have been doing business for Dinosaur education in south Korea(NO north korea...;;).

In south Korea, there is a tendency to evaluate the dinosaurs that for children only. But I do not think so.

The reason for this is because the dinosaur has a high educational value.

So I made the high quality dinosaurs contents for books and apps.

I'm running a shop for dinosaur figurine at shapeways.
If you are interested in my dinosaurs, please come to the my shapeways store.

In addition, these are my dinosaur figurines.
Some dinosaurs were made through shapeways.

The Atroxious

Those are some gorgeous sculptures you've done, especially with the skin detail. Thanks for sharing your work!

Unfortunately, the attitude that dinosaurs are only interesting to children is prevalent in the U.S. as well. It's not true of course, or we wouldn't have paleontologists and evolutionary biologists studying them, but the misconception persists.

Welcome kongtrex! Your dinosaurs have excellent anatomy - very thorough research. I know we've discussed the "dinosaurs are for children" misconception here on the forum. We'd love for you to add your views and experiences.

Beautiful figures, you're very talented.

Welcome to the forum! Oh my god! That Spinosaurus is... FANTASTIC!!!

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Welcome to DTF new friend  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Welcome to the DTF. Awesome work and nice collection.

Yes, the whole "Dinosaurs = For Kids" thing is an annoyance here in Germany, too.
How is a Tyrannosaurus more for kids than a lion?
Ornithopod more than a horse?
Ceratopsian more than a bull?
Sauropod more than an elephant and giraffe?
Etc.
Simple answer: It isn't!
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

What exactly does your company do? Does it make models, books or publish articles and paleoart or a little bit of everything?

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Welcome! Beautiful work; I look forward to seeing more.

Your artwork is some of the best I have ever seen. Hopefully you will be able to distribute some of your models to those of us in other countries!

Hi Jin Kyeom,

Welcome to this forum. I like your style!

I bought your Baryonyx at shapeways and I love it! I always wonder, if i may ask, how do your dinosaurs sell at shapeways, is it profitable for the sculpters? Or is it shapeways that makes the most of the money?

Cheers!

wow!!! Thank you~^^
For me shapeways serve as tools for announcing my various dinosaurs.
And it is the purpose of my dinosaur to be in front of my eyes, not in display.
