Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Talk about spoiler, i think movies now sometimes too much spoiled it self by the trailer...like avenger or jw there is a lot of trailer (2-3 part of trailer). Old movie like jp 123 only have 1 trailer if im not wrong, did jp1 have a trailer ?

A couple ones actually.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bim7RtKXv90

The first JP had an air of secrecy behind it, I don't recall seeing one dinosaur in full til the film opened or at least that week when I picked up a magazine.  There was nothing shown before that. Magazines even had poor angles and just a few images after it was released..caused a rush to get everything you could to find one new image or bit of info. The Making of book was a holy grail with tons of info.

Now it's all about hype. Show as much as you can without ruining key scenes to drive the hype train up.

That said the new posters are pretty cool..we're supposed to get a couple more I think and a new trailer on Monday.

OMG OMG OMG, Too much freaking awesome!  First Star Wars 7 and Battlefront, then Batman v Superman, and next a new Jurassic World trailer?  There's only so much epic a human being can be exposed to in a short amount of time!
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Arul

Ohh i see hehehe yes you right. besides, spielberg always know how to entertain the audience  :D

Nice!  I also like the Mosasaur one.  Not too fond of the one with the I-rex's snout.  Scale seems really off in that one.

I just did a double take because, for a second, I thought the raptors were riding motorcycles as well. The mosasaur poster is pretty cool though.

The scale is really off on the mosasaurus one too if you start doing a little mental figuring...or at least to me it looks implausibly large.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Someone did some figuring awhile back that placed the Mosa at around 60' I think. Not the blue whale sized critter everyone was criticizing before. Still big at 60' it's possible with Wu's growth enhancers he's using on other species.

Saw a figure that suggested 20 feet for a  full grown great white, like the mosasaurus is about to swallow...stand that thing on end and look how wide they mouth would be and therefore you can somewhat get a feel for the head alone being something larger than you would expect.......or use the kid at the bottom of the picture as a mental measuring stick. That mosasaurus head at least is huge!!!

It was said on JPL the sharks they clone don't reach full size before being used as food. So it's around 10- 15' I guess?  Hard for me to tell distance between the animals and the glass as well. :/

The website, far from accurate sometimes, does say 60' as well.

The theatrical trailer's due out today. Can't wait!
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yep, probably not til tonight I guess though.

Arul

Wow the poster of mosasaurus is very cool. That jaws movie star is her snack lol

Arul

The new trailer is out now on youtube, the irex is so cool ! the i-rex can communicate with other dinosaur species ? (Highly intelligent animal). On the trailer it looks like the irex command the pterosaur to leave the cage

Awesome! I would prefer it if that little glimpse of the feeding show is all we see of T. rex before the movie comes out. The CGI and dinosaur designs in this one looks really good. I just wish that they had used some actual JP music instead of generic action movie score.

*This was supposed to be a normal post about the new Jurassic World trailer. Unfortunately, I did not like said trailer very much so I'm posting a silent sound of me grinding my teeth in anger and disappointment*
