Well I'm already getting ready to spend money on another kickstarter again (this time it's Prehistoric Enamel Pins, with a Paleozoic theme). So that will be the first on my list this year for prehistoric things (though pins are obviously not toys).

Edit: So a little bit after the Prehistoric Enamel Pins kickstarter was paid for, ended up getting another BotM raptor (the red version of the blue kickstarter one). I think I was over ambitious with my want list. After much consideration I'm going to have to shrink my list for this year. I can only imagine next year is going to be even tougher for me to pick up any of those from the old list with the two BotM kickstarters and probably the Jurassic World 2 line, it if interests me at all.

So at the very least before the year is over I'd like to pick up:
-The BotM blue-footed boobie Acheroraptor (give or take the nestlings packs and the other accessory packs I haven't purchased).
-Possibly the Kenner Parasaurolophus. Might be a while before there are other well done articulated figures of that genus, that are hopefully accurate or close to accurate. Possibly the Kenner Junior figure, the young T. rex from TLW)
-Anything goes from the old list, or whatever else comes up this year (this also includes non-dinosaur figures for me).

Old list below:
-BotM Amber Nestlings Pack
-Some Safari figures (at least the Ammonite and Cambrian TOOB), though I'm still not quite sure which dinosaurs (new and old) to order.
-Some of the Kenner JP toys I grew up with (Junior/TLW young T. rex, since I had this one. Possibly one of the Velociraptor toys, for nostalgia's sake. Maybe the green repainted Dimetrodon since my dad bought me that when I was 11. Definitely TLW Parasaurolophus since that one has grown on me these past few years. About time I get it, even though it was not one I had as a child).
-CollectA's Prehistoric Marine Toob thing
-Maybe some Papo's or that Schleich Dunkleosteus

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Silvanusaurus

Papo's Ceratosaurus; he's everything I've ever dreamed, such a beef cake.
Also, in terms of new figures; Papo Cryolophosaurus, Safari Microraptor, possibly CollctA Kronosaurus (though I always find it hard fitting marine creatures into my collection) and in all likelihood, something as yet to be revealed from PNSO.
Though I will also keep trying to complete my Bullyland collection (excluding their newest releases).
I might buy Schleich's new Allosaurus so I can burn it in a fire though.

Minmiminime

PNSO Chunkingosaurus...looking forward to seeing what else PNSO come up with. I would like Wilson, but I love my Wild Safari feathered T. rex so much I'm reluctant to get another rex this year...
Wild Safari: Velociraptor, Psittacosaurus, Deinocheirus, Coelophysis, Einiosaurus
Papo Ceratosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Cryolophosaurus and the Polacanthus.
CollectA Einiosaurus and Dimorphodon
REBOR: I'll pick up "Clover", and remain hopeful that they'll do a good (if not necessarily accurate) job on their herbivores
BotM: still considering picking up the desert pack, the standard Velociraptor, the amber hatchlings, the Dromeosaurus, and the Adasaurus.
Ouch :o
"You can have all the dinosaurs you want my love, providing we have enough space"

Georassic

most of the 2017 Safaris; I already have Psittacosaurus, Coelophysis, Einiosaurus  and Parasaurolophus. Looking especially forward to the raptor, Deinocheirus and Diplodocus
The Collecta ceratopsians and Gigantspinosaurus; especially looking forward to the Deluxe Styracosaurus for my 1:18 shelf
The Papo Acro, Cryo, Cerato and Polcanthus. At least until someone smarter than me reviews them and deems them horribly inaccurate.
I'll add Schleich Kentro to my list once someone smarter than me gets it and gives it a thumbs up
Kayakasaurus' Patagosaurus
I'm still waiting for some of the Favorite pairs to come down in price, as well as few other Japanese odds and ends and, like most of you, hoping to score some/any/all of the Play Visions amphibians (I have the "Roselaar trio"  ;D ) and Dawn of the Dinosaurs minis and resins. (Message me if anyone's selling!)

I have definitely slowed my collecting, since companies like CollectA are much harder to come by.

I will, however, find a way to get the CollectA prehistoric marine tube. And the Uintathere and Basilosaurus. I will see beyond that.

I already have all of the Safari releases (except the Velociraptor...they sold out on me too quickly).

Same with the Southlands Replicas Maruspial Lion and Marsupial Wolf--we'll see what else gets released this year.

Other than that, I'm hoping that the Colorata prehistoric box set isn't too expensive; that Favorite has some interesting things (might be tempted on the new Spinosaurus once it's released); and that Kaiyodo comes up with something interesting, possibly as part of an expo, at some point this year.

Other than that...the new line from the revamped Replica Toy Fish is probably my number one must see! Prehistoric or not...(not)

if my memory doesn't fail, you're really selective,
so i'd like to know why are you going to buy the acro.
I'd like to find a good "companion" for the Safari sauropelta (in a similar scale), but i'm not so sure about the Papo's...
do you think it's the best Acro available?

Re Safari, I'd like to know which ones you won't buy and why.

Re Safari, I'd like to know which ones you won't buy and why.

I'm selective, but sometimes idiosyncratically so. I have the Papo Carnotaurus rather than the Carnegie, though I think the Carnegie is probably more accurate, in part because it's much closer to 1:40. My current Acro is the Battat, which is really quite good. It might even be more accurate, but the new one is a prettier sculpt and will probably be more stable (the Battat has to lean on other figures). And unlike the Rebor, it looks like it's probably about 1:35-1:40. Sometimes I buy a figure and once I have it in hand I decide to keep the old one that it was meant to replace; it takes a side by side comparison to be certain which to keep. In short, I'm not yet sure it's the best Acro available, but I think I'll have to inspect it to be sure.

The Safari Sauropelta is about 1:25, so scale-wise the Rebor is probably the best choice as a companion piece. The Safari Acro would go really well with the Kaiyodo Sauropelta, if that helps.

As for the Safari figures, I skipped the Quetz because I still love my Colorata "World's Largest Pterosaurs" Quetz, the Diplodocus because I still love my Carnegie 2008 Dippy, the Para because I still love my Battat, and the Deinocheirus because it's so small (if the new CollectA Deinocheirus is close to 1:40, I'll buy it, but I think it will probably be too large, so I'd stick with last year's version).

The Rebor Acrocanthosaurus is in that range :P

Archinto

hmmm, While I think some of the new things are cool, my list comprises of oldies. I plan to get my budding "gigantic" starlux collection paid for in full in soon time, and also hope to find more vintage goodies! (always do) My "released 2017" big purchase tho is my BotM order with mr Silva. Ended up getting both versions of velociraptor, adasaurus, fans zhenuanlong, fans sauronitholestes, dromeosaurus, the forest pack and the amber nestlings. Really looking forward to these guys. I hope they dont turn out to be a disappointment. The Resaurus figures are hard to display even on their stands due to their articulated joints not being strong enough to hold an ounce of weight, so I hope that the joints on the BotM are fairly tough. I may end up investing in some Tsukudas this year
I'm seeking Orsenigo and other interesting vintage dinosaurs. Contact me if you can help with my search!

Oh, is it? I'm surprised by that--most of their 1:35 scale dinosaurs end up being more like 1:25-1:30. This photo by joossa makes it look about as large as the Papo running rex, which is about 1:35. And Acrocanthosaurus should be a little smaller than Tyrannosaurus, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, I haven't ever looked at it in person or measured it, so I might be wrong about even the relative size.

My list part one.
Papo:
Polacanthus (Well too be honest, I was kind of expecting it since they said they were going to make
Iguanodon and the 2 species moved in herds together.)
Acrocanthosaurus (Another expected one, and I kinda don't like its pose, but oh well. Maybe they can do a remake but for now this will do.)
Ceratosaurus (Even I have to admit, I wanted to see Papo make this dinosaur.)
Cryolophosaurus (I was not expecting it and it looks great.)
Cave Bear (Once again, an unexpected figure that I want to get.)
Dimorphodon (It will probably be the last Jurassic Park resembling dinosaur they'll ever make, so gotta get it.)
And lastly is, wait what is that? A saber-toothed lion? A smilodon/tiger? I'm just gonna call it Saber-Toothed Liger for now.
Schleich:
Utahraptor (Mostly because it is one of few new dinosaurs we got this year.)
Allosaurus Fragilis (The reason I called it that is because A. It is a little bit bigger than the last Allosaurus and B. Cretaceous Allosaurus are smaller than their cousins so this one must be a Jurassic Allosaurus.)
Brachiosaurus
Stegosaurus (Although it is not really new since it came in the T rex with volcano set last year.)
Acrocantosaurus and Kentrosaurus ( I was expecting extra dinosaurs to be revealed by Schleich, but not those two.)

There were Allosaurus species that lived in the Cretaceous period?

Yup, but they were smaller than their Jurassic cousins.

Lanthanotus

My No1 must buy for this year will be CollectA's Dimorphodon, however I also purchased - more or less literally when I got out of the plane from Sydney - Safari's Coelophysis, Deinocheirus and Diplodocus. Also wanted the famed T. rex but my shop of choice was out of stock, so I'll just wait a few. I also ordered (way overdue) the incredible I-toy Ceratosaurus and bought Schleich's Stegosaurus from a local store, indeed a nice figure if a bit dull, but that can be helped. Also considered buying their new Brachiosaurus, but for all its accuracy it looks kinda cartoonish, have to think about it once more. From Australia I only brought CollectA's Muttaburrasaurus from the only shop I could find, that didn't sell knockoffs.

Future purchases will be Papo's Polacanthus and maybe their Ceratosaurus. Also thinking about getting Safari's Archaeopteryx and Microraptor and maybe CollectA's Gigantspinosaurus. Also I'd like to build up my Kaiyodo Dinotales Collection, but before all this, I intend to buy a glass cabinet to get the growing collection sorted (and save time dusting it off).

Irritation

Part 2:
Safari:
Feathered Velociraptor (I know that we got one last year from Papo, but I just can't resist.)
Einiosaurus (To be fair, I wanted to see Einiosaurus made, but I wasn't expecting it to be made so soon.)
Parasaurolophus
Quetzalcoatlus
Diplodicus
Feathered Tyrannosaurus (Well, it looks like a decent T-rex so I'll get it.)
Deinocherus
CollectA:
Einiosaurus (Again, was not expecting it to be released this year.)
Gigantspinosaurus

Sigmasaurus

Here is a wishlist for me (Not including the new 2017 figs)

Safari:
Iguanodon
Acrocanthosaurus
Gyposaurus
Gastornis
Allosaurus
Brachiosaurus

Papo:
Stegosaurus
Ankylosaurus

CollectA:
Feathered T Rex
Plateosaurus
Lythronax
Nasutoceratops
Rajasaurus
Medusaceratops
Mapusaurus
Ichthyovenator
Bistaheviosaur
Psittacosaurus
