Although the CGI is not great this is one of my favorite documentaries. It has a fun narrator, very interesting fossil analysis, biochemical models and pretty much everything you could want in a dinosaur documentary. If you have not seen this yet I highly recommend that you do.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Yeah, my bad. :-[ I reported it to the moderators.

This is one of my favourite documentaries, too. It's fun, but grounded and informative without being dumbed down. It may have aged a little, but at least the Velociraptors were nicely feathered and birdlike in their behaviour ^-^ I love their little cockatoo crests..!

It has a fun narrator

That's our Bill;D First became famous on TV as part of an anarchic comedy show a few decades ago, then kind of morphed into something like David Attenborough's naughty kid brother. He's always been an avid birder, and was a very popular host on the BBC's long-running Springwatch and Autumnwatch - live wildlife diary shows. Unfortunately some long-term emotional/mental troubles caught up with him a few years back, he left the show, and hasn't been seen or heard of much, since. A great pity...

Oh yeah, and the show's good too. I particularly like the tyrannosaurs. Not too similar to JP's, but not quite as... odd... as WWD's.

Mamasaurus

I really enjoyed these little documentaries.  The cg was a little...interesting, but at least the velociraptor was covered in feathers and birdy.  I particularly enjoyed the T-rex vs. Triceratops episode.  It was amazing to see what a T. rex could do to a car! Really nice research and practical experiments to back up the hypothesis.  I always really like seeing practical experiments like that.  Thank you for sharing! :D

Well that's to bad. :'( I hope he is doing alright. I was wishing he would do a 3rd episode of saurapods vs carnosaurus. Not many narrators of scientific documentaries can match his enthusiasm. How exactly do you know him?

Only through his TV shows, unfortunately. When I say 'our' Bill, I mean 'the UK's' Bill. :))
