Scored this lot on a local flea market once. That was a good day!  ^-^

Shonisaurus

I have never approached a flea market but I think of a future after summer vacations to go to the Rastro de Madrid to see if I find cool things of dinosaurs.

I congratulate you Roselaar for your new acquisitions.

Roselaar

JP III Camo Xtreme, the coolest repaints on the poorest JP toys.  ::)

Roselaar

Bunch of painted Invictas I once traded for. I love these paint jobs.

Libraraptor

I like painted Invictas,  I wish I had more of them...

Shonisaurus

The various painting variants of the prehistoric animals of Invicta are totally a separate Universe. There are many variants of these figures, from Invicta figures covered in gold leaf, to the almost infinite variations of paint that can be found from these dinosaurs.

Despite the years, they are still very interesting figures.

I also have the book Walking with Beasts, that's been a lot of years ago. It is a very illustrated book and in which reality is confused with fiction. It looks like a real prehistoric safari. On the other hand the content is very good.

My congratulations Roselaar.

Roselaar

Papo Dimetrodon, still one of the best of both the company and the species. Picture does it no justice whatsoever...  ::)

My congratulations Roselaar.

To my knowledge,  there was only one painted version for each Invictabfigure ex factory. Excluding Lambeosaurus and Dimetrodon. The rest of the painted versions are probably customs.
Back to topic, nice book finds and I have the great Dimetrodon,  toi!

And the Troodon, right? I do believe there are at least two painted versions of the Brachiosaurus though, but I may be mistaken.

Here's a big Collecta tree:

Yes, and the Troodon! As I said I am not sure as to how many painted variants there are.

Roselaar

More JP III Camo X-treme. Amazing paint jobs on feeble figures. I absolutely love the Night Raptor.

Roselaar

Kaiyodo's T-Rex capsules set. The best T-Rexes in this size range? Very likely.

Shonisaurus

Thanks for the photo Roselaar that Tyrannosaurus capsule of Kaiyodo is spectacular. A year ago I bought an excellent person and member of the Brett forum the Kaiyodo capsule set of special editions and I can assure you that I have it on my bedside table, accompanying me every day with its exceptional figures.

When I finish buying Favorite Soft Model figures in safety if my economy is going from strength to strength I will start buying Brett the dinosaurs of Kaiyodo Dinotales and then perhaps Colorata, but time to time. In case of prudence, tranquility and moderation.

Roselaar

Here's a bigger Theropod for ya, the WWD3D Ultimate Gorgon. I love it, despite its shiny paint job and somewhat awkwardly scaled limbs.

Lizerd

Excuse me for asking, but, how do you fit all of these animals???  :o
That collection is awesome, and I am wondering how many years did it take to build this up?

Question 1: I don't. Not anymore... Space is increasingly a problem at my place.  :-\

Question 2: A life time. More or less. But in terms of serious, hardcore collecting, I'd say the past 12 years.

A few more figures I don't actually have that much room for:

Maybe you should open a museum for your collection  :)

For the amount of figures shown by Roselaar and other members of the forum have real museums of Natural Sciences. I think they have more expensive dinosaur figures than electric train collectors.

Honestly I like the level, quantity and quality of dinosaurs and prehistoric toy and resin animals that have a considerable part of the forum members. These collections are even more expensive monetarily with difference to the collection hobby of original stamps.
