Thanks avatar_mgaguilar @mgaguilar  I like to give good news to my friends from the forum of the toy dinosaur and more on a day when I turn years. Today has been a lucky day.

First the wuerhosaurus of Vitae and then the dinosaurs of Mojo has been a round day. The packages if everything goes well I will pick them up in September, I have already given orders to monsterhouse and to the German store where I have been one of the first buyers.

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus
Quick question and a little off-topic. I've never ordered from here before, but I recently ordered and I'm from the US.
In the receipt email, they stated that I may have to pay additional customs duties in order to get my package delivered. Is this true?

Unfortunately avatar_mgaguilar @mgaguilar it is true you will have to pay tariffs and it depends on the customs service of your nation.

In my case I bought Brett Dinotoyforum member (excellent seller and excellent person who has served me in all he could) a package with dinosaurs Kaiyodo and Favorite on June 28 and is held in customs from day 6 of July, that is to say, it has been almost a month, on the other hand, I have been asked for documentation and for what I have been told by the customs service and the tax agency, in the next few days I will receive it from a postal employee in my country and I will have to pay customs duties and customs.

If you have it withheld at customs you will have to pay taxes to the tax office to the postal employees. So I recommend you to be patient and if they ask you for information (invoice, identity document, a paper that you fill in by letter or via internet and all that with the scanned documents if you are going to deliver it via email) so that you release the package.

Get in touch with the employees of your postal service to inform you that you must be patient and diplomatic and the comments will have the same as waiting like me a month and a few days, I hope I'm wrong.

Unfortunately nothing can be done by the sender. You have to talk to the post office and first of all I repeat, be patient, diplomatic and take it easy, it can take up to a month and a half as it is happening to me.

Thank you for the thorough explanation. I've never had a package held for longer than a full week at customs before, but I guess it would be this package since it is decently priced.
I do hope I get an invoice through email, rather than through snail mail, as I know this would be an insane period of waiting.

Will do. Again, thank you so much avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus. And I do hope your packages come through soon. The Mojo's will I guess have to wait for a bit longer than I thought.

avatar_mgaguilar @mgaguilar I hope you do not have to wait as long as I do, but what you have said must be very patience and pay attention to everything that customs and the postal service tell you. Luck!

Just received the Mojo Deinonychus. The paintjob is extremely underwhelming and sloppy. The eyes for example are plain black without any gloss (unlike the promo pics). Do not expect to see a paintjob in the vain of a Safari or even Collecta figure. The sculpt is good and a good repaint could definitely bring that out a bit more. I would have added some pics if i only knew how.

Those are some terrible looking figures.

Are these the actual Mojo figures or have the Chinasaur bootlegs hit the streets ahead of the genuine articles?! I've seen some gaps between promo images and actual product but this takes that to a new level (or new low). These really are...bad. That Giganotosaur wouldn't even stand up, mind you neither does Vitae's Sinraptor (at least in the videos I've seen so far). I was toying with the as yet un-reviewed Dipolodocus, I like to give a Sauropod a chance; but on the strength of these, er, forgot it - it's no way Mojo from me.

All I can say about this lineup is that at least there's now a Baryonyx out there that is (somewhat) worth buying.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean as the Papo Baryonyx is more impressive (at least in terms of detail and coloration) than the Mojo version and was (somewhat) worth buying. It should be noted that the Papo version is too stocky and this version is too lean (the legs are way too long).

OK, I take it back. In my opinion, neither figure is somwhat worth buying (If anything, at least the Papo version looks good as a spinosaurid-based mutant creature. The Mojo version doesn't look good as anything).

So I guess even the reviewer thought that these were too unholy for us too see?  ;) ;D :P

Nice one  ;D

While there's a big difference between the promo images, the Baryonyx is not that bad I think. But the Giga does look like a bootleg.

The Mattel version is actually pretty good (if you can keep the jaw shut) and the upcoming Favorite version is even better.

While I do somewhat like it, I don't collect JW/JP toys, so the Mattel version is a pass for me.

Only just found out about the Favorite version, and I might consider getting it if I stumble upon it. It is the best Baryonyx figure I've seen.

The real deal. I have the deinonychus. It's a piece of garbage. Even some of the plastic on the tail has chipped away. Can't believe i paid 25 euros total for that thing. Mojo? NEVER AGAIN!

If these are legit then these are extremely disappointing from the promo images. Edit: I mean they seriously look like bootleg chinasaurs in comparison to the ones below. Like they had some real promise before. What happened to the images of the ones that were displayed earlier this year (at some toy show?) Like I swear they looked fine in those images (even if the Deinonychus was huge in comparison).

Edit: I found them (not sure if these were the exact ones, but they are something):

I'm just glad that Favorite came out with a Baryonyx and thankful to have Brett to help us getting it. Shame of MOJO to get us all excited and came out with something like this.

suspsy

Another case of retail products failing to live up to the snazziness of the promotional versions. Never a surprise, always a disappointment. Think of it as money saved.

Although personally, I think the Deinonychus and the Baryonyx are still better than anything Schleich has done. The Giganotosaurus seems like a failure though. A strong argument in favour of bases!

Jesus Christ these look TERRIBLE. Mojo's figures last year weren't that bad, and it seems like they got worse. These are perhaps worse (in paintjob) than most of their other releases.
This makes me sad, especially since there was so much hype for this line, with the photos that avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin reposted.
Either QC failed here, or Mojo is specifically going in the direction of making toys for kindergarteners.

Scheich has had some really decent models over the years, some of which look significantly better than these Chinasaurs. The Psittacosaurus, Dinogorgon ,Oviraptor Pentaceratops, Dunkleosteus, Kentrosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, Dimetrodon, Anhanguera, Quetzalcoatlus, Stegosaurus, Shonisaurus, and Elasmosaurus are more impressive than the rubbish Mojo is pulling. Yes, I realize that Mojo may be made up of ex-CollectA folks  ;) ;) ;)

The sculpts don't seem to be suffering for it, just the paint. Strange that they didn't just make them less complex but also made them neon.

I find it both sad and very strange how the final toy versions turned out.  I wonder why their production quality isn't like Mojo's 2017 Tyrannosaurus and Allosaurus?

The Favorite Baryonyx looks very good.  I find Mattel's Baryonyx looks pretty bad though.  The Mattel Baryonyx's head doesn't really look like a Baryonyx head, it doesn't have a prominent head crest and its teeth don't look much like the tooth arrangement in Baryonyx.  It might be a good representation of the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Baryonyx, but not so much the real animal.

Bokisaurus

:)) Oh my, what have they done!? Those neon colors just doesn't work , too bad since some actually had potential.
