If the game proves popular, mayhaps Mattel could reach into Evolution for designs during the years between films: those Cystoni designs would make beautiful figures.
From what I've seen(haven't gotten it myself yet), the Allosaurus from the Fallen Kingdom DLC pack looks different from the figure.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

The game's Allosaurus looks more like the one from the movie, with a narrow snout and pointed crests.

I just picked up the Roarivores Baryonyx and Triceratops from Walmart. They were discounted $11.92 each.

The next round of shopping, I will probably pick up Stiggy, Mosasaurus and/or Stegosaurus.

I kind of liked how the Pteranodon's looked in JPIII minus the teeth. They were just more menacing, and honestly I think the one's in JW were a bit too shrinkwrapped for my liking. Though I did like that they gave them the short crest because they are meant to be females. I like both color schemes. For the figures it would have been nice if they weren't all retooled versions of the same sculpt (applies to the jumping raptor too), though I understand it saved them production costs, aside from the fact these are marketed for children.

Anyways, I'm hoping to pick up the legacy JPIII Pteranodon this week, assuming it is in stock when I go to Target after therapy, if the Wave 2 figures haven't released yet in my area. I also want to pick up the Imaginext Compies the next go too (again if in stock), since I kind of forgot about these being an option (even if a bit cartoony in appearance), they are pretty small (smaller then the Velociraptor figures and Stiggy for example, from what I've seen), and would do well for my species collection without needing the ones that come with the Legacy human figures. Not quite to scale like the Legacy ones are, but neither is the Attack Pack Dimorphodon in my collection either. I think their sculpts are also a bit more in line with the compies in the film (in the head shape at least, since proportions are cartoony), then the Legacy Pack ones. Though the compy in the Descructasaurs pack with the Dilophosaurus looks pretty spot on sculpt wise and would be more in line then these. Until and unless that is released, I have to go with these for now.

So what letter are the pachycephalosaur, the pterosaur and the rauisuchian!?
Those are supposed to be Wave 3 releases

So that means there's another set of 12-ish minis? Because those are the ones I tend to want...

And I only just now noticed that the pterosaur is labelled...just wrong genus. And the second ceratopsian is not...it was late and I wasn't paying full attention apparently.

The pterosaur is not labelled wrong, Mattel repeated the Pteranodon for Wave 2 blind bags.

We have yet to see 6 mini figures: Pachyrhinosaurus, Diplodocus, Postosuchus, Stygimoloch version 2, Ceratosaurus and Dimophodon.
Maybe they'll release the remaining 6 as 3 packs? Or maybe they'll just release them along with a few others from previous waves

I'm just judging from the included photograph--that's clearly not a Pteranodon!

Nope, it's not. The image doesn't show all the Wave 2 minis, and it includes the Wave 3 releases as well.

Man i'd love a Gennaro boxset!

Are there codes for the first wave? They've just started appearing in Australia. I have the green raptor so far.

As popular as the Lost World Para was, it's weird to me we haven't gotten another.  You know instead of things like Monolophosaurus.

Its odd, but not unexpected, despite being in every movie the paras only gotten one figure. Which, all things considered is better than the Brachiosaurus' zero. Also, don't be dissing the monolophosaurus.

Faelrin

The Brachiosaurus did get a figure in the JPIII line, but it was on the small side. Though better then nothing I suppose. I can only hope Mattel will do one at some point, but I have a feeling they won't for the same reason the Apatosaurus was scrapped. Of course I've said this a dozen times by now. But still at least they did the mini figures so that means they didn't completely forget about them (the same goes for the Parasaurolophus).

Going to post some other thoughts on this in a spoiler since I have seen the film (especially since these could be major spoilers):

Spoiler
If I had to guess why the Parasaurolophus was excluded was because its screen time in the film was super brief, only a very short shot of it in a cage when they were loading the dinosaurs off the island, and a better look at it at the end when it was trapped with the rest of the animals in the room with the gas. It may have been a last minute addition too. If going by the leaked size chart that Mattel supposedly used (which uses some of the official renders revealed on the DPG twitter, etc), there was no indication of Parasaurolophus even being in the film there, and it had no important role in the final film, which makes me more inclined to think it was a last minute addition.

Considering that the last of the Brachiosaurus are now killed off thanks to the volcanic eruption, I'm worried that this is our last chance to get a proper Brachiosaurus (outside of the Papo figure, which is decent, but a static model, or again the small JPIII one, which is something). At least both the Parasaurolophus and Apatosaurus could have figures in the future, with the third JW film, but I won't bet on it, at least not in the Apatosaurus' case, since Universal had them scrap it for this one. Unless they get the go ahead for making it for next year's (or next film's) toys if they sell well this year, but I'm kind of doubting that too.

Speaking of the Papo Brachiosaurus, how well does it scale with the other figures? Does anyone here have both for any comparison shots?

Also while checking out JPToys the other day, I saw mention of a Lockwood Ultimate Battle set (Battle Damage) for Wave 2. I wonder what this will entail. It's nice to see that the Baryonyx lava set isn't the only playset, possibly.

One thing I'm not certain of--are the different waves of blind bags different in appearance? Just because they haven't gotten where I live yet...but I don't want to buy more than I have to!

Loon

I'm pretty sure a human figure would come up to the papo brach's elbow, so, It could be a juvenile. Also, I completely forgot the JP 3 Brachiosaurus. I believe Mattel could do a sauropod if it was made like the mosasaurus, the body and neck made of rubber with some plug in limbs and tail, to keep costs down.

Just got through watching this review and, yeah; I have to have one of these. Not sure when or if the wave 2 will hit down here where I am, if not I may have to pursue other avenues. Amazon will be out of the question as they are no longer sending to Australia after June! The local version is severely under stocked and overpriced in regard to what they do and do not have available.

IrritatorRaji

I know it's a really bad interpretation of Suchomimus, especially when you consider how great the Baryonyx was, but I N E E D it *-*

Dilopho

We're not being treat very fairly here in the UK...I haven't seen the stego or carno at all.
And now I missed out on the bary.  :-[

Im from the US and I haven't seen any of the large action attack figures either and only a few of the roaravores. And I really want the Target Legacy mini figure 5 packs and havent seen any of those either.  I just think everyone found out how good these figures are and the scalpers are working overtime. :(

Definitely.
I have seen the 5 packs (we have them exclusive to Smyth's instead) but I don't even know any shops that carry the action attackers at all!

I've seen more slowly trickling in; the big bag of mini dinos was at Big W and EB Games has the blindpacks. The carno and the stego seem to be exclusive to Toyworld, which has the audacity to have stores in every Australian city except mine.
