Gah...the fact that they won't release the Destructasaurs rex....means we'll NEVER know the mystery of what that red thing is!!!  :'( AAAH!!! I'M GONNA GO CRAZY

When I first saw the Lockwood battle set I inmediately wanted since I did not have niether a Blue or an Indoraptor. Also because it seemed like the Indoraptor had a better head, and of course because of the skull. However I recently found a Blue battle damage figure. And the Indoraptor of the set still has the same head as the regular one.

If it is in fact going to be a very limited release then I guess it is not such a big deal since the only thing I will be missing is that skull. Although part of me wishes I could get that skull, because....well, you know why.  ;)

According to Jptoys, is a limited release, take a look at this:

Halichoeres

Thanks, avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, I hadn't seen that list. I'm now rooting for a Segisaurus.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

It's the beginning scene where-...Do I need a spoiler tag??? It's been out for awhile now.
Anyways, the rex "wrecks" that control box in the first 10-minutes of the movie.

Dilopho

But...but I thought she just smashes the little tablet and flips over a car. That red thing isn't in the movie....

The mercenary's actually Donald Gennero's son. The red box is an armoured bathroom stall to protect himself form the Tyrannosaur and exact his revenge.

Nothing helps you more with the bathroom experience than being in a small box with automated weapons.

If the Lockwood playset and the Destructasaur Rex playset were the comic-con exclusives that won't be released...
PHEW, glad that it was nothing too interesting. Scalpers and collectors can jack up the prices of these 2 all they want, but there's no way in hell I'll be missing this two sets  ;)

Faelrin

Yeah I'm actually really relieved in so many ways that it was just those sets that were exclusives, since aside from the accessories, the main versions of those figures have already been released. It also means there weren't any limited/canceled species toys (which was my main concern). I mean I kinda did want the Indoraptor vs Blue Battle Damage set, but mainly because of the skull accessory (although it is a bit small). It would have been nice if it had package art to reflect being inside the manor, but since it is just the same background as on the Indoraptor's packaging, no real loss there.

So, this is all the news we are going to get?
The announcement of 16 new species for 2019 , with includes Styracosaurus, Amargasaurus & Brachiosaurus, a Franklin figure for 2019, the new 6" figures of Owen, Malcolm and Blue, some hints at other things, and the two exclusive sets.

Can we expect more reveals or this is it?

Off topic, but there are times when, yes, that would help with the bathroom experience for me.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

One reply from Mattel stated they wanted to keep a few surprises.  At this point they probably have 2019 just about nailed down.

Found Claire and Wheatly this morning, one each of them was there and two LB Owens which I skipped for now

I finally found and picked up the Ankylosaurus and Ceratosaurus today. I'll try to get pics of my collection tomorrow if there's better lighting (since it is storming out today), as well as a comparison pic of the Mattel Ankylosaurus with the Hasbro one.

I can't wait to get the Pteranodon, Suchomimus, and of course the Wave 2 Legacy stuff, such as the Spinosaurus in the coming weeks/month.

How stable is your Ceratosaurus?

Faelrin

It seems to stand fine for me, as long as I get the legs positioned right (splayed out a little, in their default 'locked' positions). Granted I've only tried it with the legs posed in that default 'locked' position so far. I honestly have a little more trouble with my Indoraptor (loose leg), and my Allosaurus standing in comparison. Though it really isn't so bad in my case since Indoraptor aside, they are all kind of clustered together on display.

Also it is worth mentioning that the button on the Ankylosaurus gets stuck at times. Something I've seen in videos but yeah mine does it too.

I was just wondering, maybe its the thing where the dna sample of the indominus was kept in and the T-rex destroys it like in the movie?

Good lord, how big would a 6" scale T-rex be?!

IsnĀ“t that just the Colossal Rex? I thought I heard somewhere that was 1:12.

Actually, if you take the measurements and run the numbers, it is actually closer to 1:10 scale... making it better suited to 7" action figures.

A "collector" targeted 1:12 (6") scale T-Rex would be a little smaller than the Super Colossal and hopefully have some exquisite paint detail and lots of articulation.
