[Chinasaurs reborn] is a series of Chinasaurs sharing threads that aims to bridge this lovable forum and Chinese sculptors so that more Chinese models can be shared and enjoyed worldwide.

*********************************************************
The studio has been quiet for a while, but they never stopped making dinosaurs.
This is a new thread introducing their works in 2018.
Let's see what prehistoric lives they build with passion.
*********************************************************

They look nice! Except, there's those blasted tarsal scutes again.

Brolyss4

That's the final pose for the pachyrhinosaurus? Not walking or running?

PhilSauria

That Diploducus a few posts up looks magnificent, if potentialy quite fragile in the real world! Bit out of my price range unfortunately.

So they shouldn't have them?
Sorry I am no expert in dinosaurs.

Not final design.

OH wow... give me a minute to pick my jaw up from the floor... 'k, thanks.

I want one... but given the possible challenges of shipping that to Manila - I'll probably just keep it in my wishlist and drool here.  That is one magnificent beastie.

Why Dont then make a prototype in a 3D printer with the best resolution possible and then recast the models in resin to reduce the price? I am here imagining the price that Argentinosaurus will reach.  ::) ::) ::) ::)

For very big ones, yes, they made them in resin, such as the Diplodocus.
Even so, the price won't be cheap. The cost of raw resin has gone up one time compared to last year.

For the small ones, no, resin is alomost as much as 3D print.

Bombyx

Acro-man, could you please let us know the size of the argentinosaurus?
I don't collect 1/35 but for such big dinosaurs I think I have no choice than to purchase them in this small scale.

Andreioli

I just found this on the MonsterHouseHK website:
http://www.monsterhousehk.com/products.asp?id=1600
A Prehistoric Passions finished Allosaurus model available for pre-order.
The lower jaw seems posable.

Hi, Bombyx.
It's bound to be BIG, but you can commission a customized scale, taking advantage of 3D print.

However, the situation is - their new products are suspended indefinitely.
Maybe it's time to find a new target.

Yes, this is their first "TPR plastic" (soft, used by Vitae too) product, directly modified from this one:

(3D print series No.2)
The magnet in its feet makes it stand very firm, even upside down.

Not at all.

The modeler is fully engaged in graduation thesis...

He is also making a T-rex as part of a funded plan.

Other models have to be put behind.
