Oh yeah I've know about this new book for few months thanks to friends on FB..definitely going to get a copy ! ;D

I wonder what types of art are in here exactly. Is it all new, or a collection of old/classic art as well?

If the content is anything like the artwork on the cover (same as on PT 100) it should be really good!
But as I learnt not to judge a book by its cover, I'll wait until it's released, see if they offer the "look inside" feature...
Thanks for the tip Scallenger!!!

It might be too early, but I'm really excited about this one. The cover art is from Raul Martin, so I'm hoping all those masterpieces he's done over the years will be included. I also love the gorgeous works from Douglas Henderson, Todd Marshall, Julius Csotonyi and Gregory S Paul.

Wished Amazon had info on which artists will be included in the book.

Me too, I'm withholding all toy purchases in order to get that book come September.

Dinosaur Tracking had good things to say.

So happy to see Doug's Asteroid piece is included. I hope the one with the Triceratops and Struthiomimus will be too. The colors are just stunning.

Luis Rey also posted about the book here, with a chance to get your book signed:

Looks good. Hope there are not too many pieces focusing on mammals however....
Also acording to Rey, he is gonna work with Bakker on something big.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I actually have that story he did for Marvel's Dinosaurs: A Celebration . Anyone who read it can easily recognize Rey's style..well now at any rate. When I was a kid reading it I  had no idea who he was. :)

Resurrecting an old thread, but I'm frankly surprised this topic has  not engendered more conversation. This is truly a great resource and a great primer to a small slice of the talent out there. I just wish more artists had been included! I would've certainly bought a Volume 2 sequel to this, but with the release of the Julius Cstonyi book, it looks like the editor is going to focus on individual artists for each new book, if indeed he does produce any more. (I'm a little torn about the choice of Julius for this most recent book though, since he was already featured in Dinosaur Art and I would've preferred that somebody else got a chance at the spotlight, but that incredible "fish-eye lens" Apatosaurus painting more than justifies the purchase!)

Here's the Amazon link and cover image to the Julius Cstonyi book: https://smile.amazon.com/Paleoart-Julius-Csotonyi/dp/1781169128/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471676931&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=julis+cstonyi

If there are anymore books released in this series, who would be your pick for the next artists to be featured? (Keep in mind, certain people may not be as likely to show up as others. Mark Witton, for example, just self-published his own similarly-sized volume that basically follows this same idea, so I doubt he'd want to be in competition with himself.)

I have both of the books pictured in this thread and look at them frequently. Beautiful work. If more like these are coming, I'll buy them.

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

I'd personally love to see an Emily Willoughby volume; she's one of my favorites. Additionally, I think most people would agree that John Gurche and Mark Hallett were the two biggest names missing from the first book, so I'd like to see something for them too.
