The campaign did so well over the weekend, but it has been between 174k-175k, back and forth, for the last 24 hours or so.

That's a very beautiful figure! It has kind of a gentle face. I'm not crazy about the green on the face though.

Shonisaurus

It seems to me even that wendiceratops painting is quite realistic for a herbivorous dinosaur. David Silva's BoTM is doing a formidable job.

I really like this Wendiceratops. Even though the ceratopsians are colored rather brightly, they have a distinctive appearance (as far as hues) quite unlike any other dinosaur products in the market.

Can somebody compile a list of ceratopsians that have been unlocked thus far?

avatar_suspsy @suspsy It is just the first four/main campaign funded (Zuniceratops, Styracosaurus, the kickstarter exclusive Monoclonius, and the sub adult Triceratops), and the Chasmosaurus and Diabloceratops unlocked now. Less then $10,000 to unlocking Nasutoceratops now (edit: and less then $24,000 to unlock Protoceratops, which needs $200,000).

Six big, poseable ceratopsian figures is a far cry from the final goal, but it's still a decent number.

And if we are lucky we'll have more then those 6 before this ends.

Edit: Here's a look at the Kosmoceratops getting painted:

Also if anyone selected the print and wants to add on any figures, they will need to add an additional $10 (US) or $15 (int) to their pledge to cover shipping (in my case my pledge of $242 went up to $252, for the first four figures, and the print). See either the update itself, or the comments for more info on why this will be needed:

There's been a very important update/change done. To put it simply, once reaching $185,000 (which we are less then $5,000 away from now), will unlock those using body 2. This means not only will Nasutoceratops unlock at $185,000, but Einiosaurus, Avaceratops, Kosmoceratops, and Spiclypeus will be unlocked as well. Everything else stays the same (such as Regaliceratops, etc), because of the funding and/or risks involved to do the same with them. David went into depth into why this would be done in the update below which is certainly worth reading (which compares the success of the raptor series kickstarter compared to how this one has been slow as of late, give or take a few changes that have helped boost it). Hopefully once we get to $185,000 this will speed up things and help us to get Protoceratops, Psittacosaurus, if not more.

Edit: Also a preview of Kosmoceratops, which will have its gallery posted tomorrow.

Shonisaurus

By the way, I wonder who in the DTF will be fortunate to have all or almost all of these BoTM figures in the future? They are beautiful figures especially the kosmoceratops that is one of my favorite ceraptosides for its rare gola. Nice work, they all exceed my expectations. The bad thing is the price so high that you have to invest for these works of art, it is a shame that they are unaffordable for the vast majority of DTF members among whom I am. I will risk by buying the kosmoceratops and protoceratops. I would like to buy all but I have no money, space and time. I am glad that David Silva has done a perhaps definitive work of ceraptosides. Best wishes to the BoTM brand.

With the change to unlock all of Body 2 at $185,000, we've done well today. I think over $3,000, not quite sure, though it looks like we might unlock by end of day. Perhaps sooner!

Silvanusaurus

Hmmmm... looks more and more likely I will have to withdraw the Psittacosaurus portion of my pledge before the end, there aren't any other figures I'm interested enough in to get for the same amount of money. I'll be very disappointed...  :(

Unless the big guys get unlocked (almost a zero percent chance at this point) my pledge will be going down dramatically as well. It will be interesting to see how much funding decreases in the final moments of the campaign, as I've heard that quite a few people will be doing the same since their favored species aren't getting unlocked.

I don't see this type of 'proactive' support as helping the campaign one bit. Let's hope Silva shuffles things around a bit.

Faelrin

I don't think jumping the gun by pledging for stretch goals that haven't been unlocked yet is a good idea (unless they are imminent, such as the big unlock stretch goal figures at $185,000 now that they are less then $800 away from unlocking), since if they ultimately remain locked prior to the campaign ending, it will only end up hurting the campaign's funding in the end with what was about there. It would only give a false sense of security, only to see it hurt in the long run. I would highly suggest just pledging for something that is there now (if not a figure, then maybe the post cards if the shipping fee's, etc makes it feasible), and if nothing is there that is satisfying I would suggest just holding off and waiting. In fact I might go ahead and post this in the kickstarter comments too, though I know this has been discussed before there as well.

Edit: Anyways, it would be worth mentioning to folks here that the goal of $185,000 has been met now, and Nasutoceratops, Einiosaurus, Avaceratops, Kosmoceratops, and Spiclypeus have now all been unlocked.

$185,000 unlocked. Unfortunately the next unlock is at $200,000. Fingers crossed that we meet that for the Protoceratops.

3K away from the next stretch goal, looks like the campaign is finally starting to pick up some pace!
Fingers crossed we'll get to unlocking the Psittacosaurus as well  ;D

ZoPteryx

I think this was a smart decision by David, reducing the "buffer" between the smaller figures and the more desired (by many) larger figures.  I wonder if David's also thinking it'll make it easier to have a nice break between the smaller and larger figures, thus the latter can be saved for their own campaign later, if they don't get funded.

Isn't it 13K away?  Or did the unlock level change for the Proto?  ???
