Nice Work! Making a Suggestion is hard, since you know what you are doing :) This might me an absolute personal prefecence, but i like Washes and Drybrushing. I know, that this Topic is the neverending Fight in the Miniature painting World, but when it comes to Animal repaints/colouration, i like it better with Washes and Drybrushing. Mostly. Sometimes it is too "dirty" and i often do too much washes overall. Less is better. But i feel, that this would bring all the detail even more to the eye.

But: You already are good at this :D A Mix of Airbrush and Brush is just perfect to me.

Looking forward to new Repaints and the finished T. rex. I just would suggest the same thing, Boki did. With these slender rexes from another Time, i often like to see them as young Adults or Semiadults now. So the Colouration fits the Animal, i would say :)

Thank you, Kapitaenosavrvs, for your take on things, and I think you are right about the washes and drybrushing. I painted my Tamiya Brachiosaurus with brushes, giving it washes (many, actually) and drybrush treatment, which worked out very well. I have never tried a combination of both brushing and airbrushing, but I want to try and experiment with that sometime too, I think. Airbrushing alone is not completely giving me the result that I want, because it makes it all look so "smooth", whereas a little wash or drybrushing can maybe give a more lifelike and "lived" appearance, for lack of a better word for it. (Birds are maybe an exception, because they often need to groom their feathers to perfection, so they almost always look perfectly clean and smooth, right?)

I wanted to learn how to add an image to a different background layer in Photoshop, so I tried this with a photo of my repainted Carnegie Diplodocus. As background I used a painting by John Conway. This took a few hours to complete :P

Beautiful and inspiring outcome, avatar_JohannesB @JohannesB . I wish that I had an extra Carnegie Diplodocus just  floating around somewhere that I could have painted up in homage to your subcreation. Well done!

Not really a repaint, but more like a remaster/re-edit of the PNSO Corythosaurus. I resized the head to make it a bit smaller and I changed its 'behind' a bit.

A repaint of the Carnegie Brachiosaurus in greens, blues, dark grey-greens and purple

The pic below shows the paint app before, which I "borrowed" from a drawing I saw of another kind of animal, but that felt like a mistake in many ways, so I changed it to something more "my own".

These are very nicely done repaints.
I also like the PNSO Corythosaurus proportions fixed. Helps the model so much.

The Corythosaurus looks great with its resized head. And the colors on the Brachiosaurus are beautiful. That sculpt I like a lot but wish its head was not looking down so much, still a great figure.

I like the new paint scheme on the Brachiosaurus much better than the old version.

I am trying to make some kind of base/support for the PNSO T.rex. It's not very fancy, because I had little time and I am impatient :-) Still need to paint and add some more details, maybe. I will use a metal rod to support the figure. I used DAS air drying clay and wood glue to later stick it on the wooden base.

That is a very nice base! Can't wait to see it painted too!
