Cen confirmed to me that it doesn't need any support.

Any news if there will be more kits sold?

Loon

Man, that's nice looking. I rarely find giganotosaurus all too appealing, as now it seems to be the bob-standard dinosaur that all the kids are into, but Jesus is that gorgeous. Makes me wish that this was in a movie now... Welp, guess I'm off to DeviantArt to draw my new Sonic OC...

Bombyx

This night I've got the confirmation from Cen Dao Yi that he will produce at least 30 copies of the giganotosaurus (so 15 in addition to the ones which are already booked) with a maximum of 38. Then he will never republish it.
He also told me that everyone who will order it will also receive for free a tapejara.

Thank you Bombyx, That is good news! I know i can ask him on FB myself, but just wondering you or someone else knows...
is the model finished by now and when will it be casted and sent to the lucky customers?

Syndicate Bias

Thanks Bombyx. How much did it cost you overall for the entire build up and painting services? Just wanted to ask since I've seen his past projects and his work is astounding. Still deciding on it, but we will see  ^-^

Sorry Mackeral but the gigano is not yet finished. Almost done. I think we could have them in July or August. I'll ask to Cen.

Bombyx

I've got the answer from Cen:
- the resin kit will be at $420 and will be ship in August
- the finished model will be at $765 and will be ship in November.

I see I was beaten to it. I agree this is the best Giganotosaurus Sculpt I have ever seen hands down.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Very nice! Reminds me of those by  Damtoys  .

So the finished painted ones are going to be about 765.00 USD?    It's 1:20 scale?   The finished ones will all look like this?

It's sculpted based on Jorge's work so would fit with my Sideshow pieces.   Do you have to preorder or can you just order in November ?

Syndicate Bias

I won't be able to get this one due to some "accident" recently causing me to shell out a few thousands because of some careless person argh.  >:( Welp, I heard that's one of multiple paint jobs he can do for you Blade. I heard you should contact him right now to see if there's any available.

Maybe next time   :-\

If i were you i should contact the artist asap on FB. Mabye there are still some available to (pre) order form the second batch of castings, which is also limited to 15 pieces or so...
I'm hoping to get a hold on Jorge Blanco's 1:35 Gigantosaurus, which is in my opinion still the better sculpt  >:D
But it is hard to find.

I was originally into that one, Jorge himself though had told me he would like to redo it and make it better and hoped  to create one for Sideshow but I fear that line is extinct.

If it makes you feel better a 1:15 version is on Shane Foulkes To Do list.

Syndicate Bias

Oooh another Giganotosaurus? He told me he  was considering doing a 1/15th scale Carcharodontosaurus later this year which im hoping is in a better pose than Sean Cooper's since im not a fan of those kind of poses. I got Shanes Giganotosaurus currently. Hopefully his new one is based on the same design that Jorge had I'm not a big fan of DK inspired Giganotosaurus.
