I have been really busy lately, so I haven't been around much.  I did get a few minutes while doing laundry to finish writing this review.  I present to you the CollectA Sarcosuchus.  Please enjoy.  http://dinotoyblog.com/2016/05/16/sarcosuchus-collecta/

Splendid!

I'm counting down to my 100th review for the DTB, with a new background and an exciting new 2016 toy from CollectA, the Deinocheirus! :D

And just for fun, I replaced the photos in my boy Firestreak's review. ^-^

Thanks! It was fun leafing through my old dinosaur books to find good vintage Deinocheirus images.

Ah, what a masterpiece! The most supreme Tyrannosaurus figure ever! ;D

If this was Amazon, the review would probably be voted down by Schleich fanatics.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Yes, those too. But I think there are actually people who actually beleive in Schleich and are not just paid by them.

After my son turned three, I started a new journey, with an old interest.  My son was interested in dinosaurs and my wife got him some safari's for his birthday.  I used to have and collect Carnegie's when I was a kid.  I decided to get a few more dinosaurs for myself along with my kid.  As I was doing some dinosaur toy research I found the DTB.  I loved the information. I decided to write a review and send it in, no idea if it was good enough to be used.   In April 2014, my first review was accepted and posted.  Just over two years later I have just finished #50 with some help from my kid.  Hopefully my reviews have been useful, accurate, and interesting.

I have written reviews on 14 different companies.  CollectA and the Jurassic World toy lines are the companies that  I have reviewed the most.  I only meant to review "Blue" from the JW line and ended up doing eight.   I have also reviewed many different types of prehistoric animals.  The animal I have reviewed the most has been the Woolly Mammoth which I have done six.  Not because I am a Woolly fanatic, (though I do like them) but just because there was only two reviews done on Mammoths.

Anyways lets get to the good stuff.  Here is the 2016 safari ltd. Carcharodontosaurus http://dinotoyblog.com/2016/06/09/carcharodontosaurus-2016wild-safari-by-safari-ltd/

Congrats on hitting 50!

Also, this is probably the one and only time the page has had reviews of T. rex, Giganotosaurus, and Carcharodontosaurus back to back to back. :)
