Do sea scorpions taste closer to shrimp or crawfish?
Here's a gross story: In 8th or 9th grade I found a dead cockroach in the Home Ec room at school and popped it in the microwave. Smelled quite a lot like shrimp.

That said, dungeness crabs are the most carnivorous marine arthropods I can think of off the top of my head, so I bet sea scorpions taste like that. In other words, delicious!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Ugh, I feel sick.

Cute plush!

I was just wondering, the companies tab, is it time to possibly update it? There's several companies now on the blog without a tab under companies (Lego, PSNO, Rebor).

I have maybe two or three of those in a box in my attic! :P Loved them as a kid, I remember using them as the parents of my Tyrannosaurus toy family!

Ah, UKRD, the company that made some of the very first models I had as kid, and the very ones that I used to dress up in skirts made of ribbons and hair scrunchies so they could be part of a tea party! The UKRD Parasaurolophus was the first of its genus I'd seen and it quickly became my favourite dinosaur. I had two, and I called them Peter and Paula. And I called my Tyrannosaurus 'Fearsome Freida'.

I'd probably have kept my UKRDs to this day, but sadly I got rid of most of my original models in my early teens when I considered my self far too mature for toys. I bought some more when I got back into the hobby, but they never felt right because they weren't mine, and they're now sadly overshadowed by my Carnegies.

Thanks for bringing back those memories, Takama and Suspsy. ^-^

To be honest, I had never heard of the UKRD line before now.

Here's a review of the Geoworld Embolotherium:

I like the weathered look of this figure, but not enough to hunt it down online. If I saw it in a physical shop, maybe.

Geoworld is just too expensive for what it is.  :-[ Along with their poor reputation I have yet to purchase a single Geoworld figure.

I'm with you on that.  Maybe if I find them at a really discounted price, I''ll get some, but there are not very high on my want list.

I have been really busy lately, so I haven't been around much.  I did get a few minutes while doing laundry to finish writing this review.  I present to you the CollectA Sarcosuchus.  Please enjoy.  http://dinotoyblog.com/2016/05/16/sarcosuchus-collecta/
