Thanks Stermturtle, they are an amazing lot, overall the anomalocaris  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

My first new one for ages: Safari's new-ish Gastornis http://www.dinotoyblog.com/2013/04/02/gastornis-wild-safari-by-safari-ltd/

Nice one. It's the first review in a while, things have slowed down over on the blog in recent weeks.  O:-)

Indeed. Once again I missed the opportunity to do an April Fools review...maybe of the Schleich rooster (referring to it as the 'Ashdown maniraptoran' or something). Oh well, next year!

Great review as usual. Those are rather good photos too - especially crisp and sharp. New camera perhaps? Or are you just that good.  ;)

Oh, please leave the new Favorite Plesiosaurus to me. It's been on my to do list for a while!

Libraraptor

Great review of a nice figure!

Not a new camera...maybe I really am just that good. ;)

And of course, I'll leave it to you.

Dan

Can't believe that one was missing from the blog all this time. Wasn't the original in yellow and brown, though?

Gwangi

Great reviews guys. It has been some time since I wrote one myself. I cannot believe that old Stegosaurus had not been reviewed yet, if I had known that I may have wrote one myself. Funny you mention Stegosaurus as a new favorite, I've grown fond of it myself recently too and it never used to be a favorite of mine. Despite being one of the more well known dinosaurs it is still such an unusual animal, even unusual compared to other stegosaurs.

Hot on the heels of Marc:

Great review of a very old figure :)
But I think that the original was brow and green. I got this one in 1990

And I agree with your review, the most recent wild Safari stegosaurus is miles ahead of this one. One can't help but wonder when a new one will come in the Carnegie line (with the same quality level as the 2011 Miragaia please ^-^)

Sorry about getting the colours wrong, I was going from photos online, which can be misleading. I'll update the blog post.

Still a great review nonetheless :)

I've finally managed to review the CollectA Diplodocus. Many thanks to Marc for posting it.

I think it is a good idea to review both Versions at once. Allows better comparsim. Nice!
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no
