I wouldn't be too bummed, your review is really good and the superior quality of your writing compliments these photos nicely!

Yes, sorry avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, it isn't personal. I've done this a few times over the years, even to my own reviews. In this case, I was using the blog for photos for the upcoming 'top 10 Triceratops toys' Youtube video and, while your photos were fine as an overview, I wanted something extra special to really capture all of the fine details. I decided to update the blog images at the same time.

Ah okay that makes perfect sense, especially if that figure was the top pick. I guess I'll dig up the old group pic from it and add that to my collection thread, so it's still around for folks (for comparison purposes), assuming it isn't there already.

I didn't delete your photos from the Dinotoyblog media library, so they will still work if you have the urls...

They have garbled file names because avatar_suspsy @suspsy uploads them to the blog from his iphone, which seems to do funny things.

Faelrin

Oh I didn't know that. Thanks.

I unfortunately haven't been able to figure out how to upload photos with proper file names via iPhone. It sucks because it's so much easier and quicker to download, resize, and then upload images using my phone than it is on my laptop, plus I can do it on the go whenever I'm away from home.

Another first, Timpo. http://dinotoyblog.com/2018/08/31/tyrannosaurus-rex-timpo/

Finally!  What a Beauty! Voted 5!

I correctly predicted how you'd feel about this one. :)

Hey we nearly know each other for almost ten years now. Like an old couple with no secrets left.  I mean concerning dinosaur toy preferences of course  ^-^ ;D

;D

Lots of readers are giving the Timpo a low score. They surely can't see past the superficial to see that there's beauty in ugliness and value in context. ;)

Finding infos about those retro-toys is not that easy, so thank you for the review.
I can see their beauty. And, while i'm not still collecting them, i'm in love with starlux, airfix kits, marx...

I was going to save this for tomorrow but what the hell, have another double-review day: http://dinotoyblog.com/2018/09/01/psittacosaurus-funrise/

Funrise: not Chinasaurs. :P

Definitely does this beautiful figure justice!

It's a Brachylophosaurus, it's a Maiasaura, it's an Iguanodon, it's...an ornithopod.

We don't see enough Starlux on the blog but here's one to check off the list.

I forgot about this figure when I wrote my Funrise Psittacosaurus review so I have just updated it accordingly. Glad to see Starlux get some attention on the Dinosaur Toy Blog.

amargasaurus cazaui

Psittacosaurus doesn't get the same attention as Stegosaurus, or a theropod so there are few enough models it is within reason we might be able to add them all to the blog ..............more surprises to come
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen
