Took me nearly a year to get around to it but here's my review of the Paleozoic Pals Tiktaalik.
http://dinotoyblog.com/2019/09/27/tiktaalik-paleozoic-pals/

So odd to me that there aren't more toys of this very famous animal. Nice review! Btw, did you see Neil Shubin retweeted it?

No, I wasn't aware of that. Awesome!

Did he subsequently delete his twitter account? I can't find the retweet, and the account you linked to in your tweet is not recognised!

That's very strange! For a moment I doubted my own memory, but I think he really must have deactivated his account (or, I dunno, he was hacked by a creationist--mostly kidding). I can no longer find him on Twitter, either, but if you Google his name + Twitter it still shows up:

It definitely happened. I don't know why the account is suddenly missing, but if you poke around Twitter the evidence for the handle being recently active persists. And the tweet got more likes/retweets than most, which I think is a direct result of his retweeting it. Peculiar timing on the deactivation!

Very odd timing. :-\ Maybe he saw the plush tiktaalik review and decided, that's it, my work is done! :))

Here's my review of the Dino Skulls toob by Safari. Seems appropriate for the month of Halloween. And hey, that's four Brachiosaurus reviews in a row!

I also added new images of the mastodon and woolly rhino to my mammal skulls review:

I went looking for that Toob three Halloweens ago when I went as the K-T extinction, but I couldn't find it in time, so I used Kaiyodo skulls instead.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Wait you dressed up as the K-T extinction for Halloween? That sounds amazing.

I've never come across it at Michael's, which boasts a huge selection of Safari toobs as we all know. Instead, I found it at the gift shop of the Brockville Aquatarium, a small downtown freshwater aquarium in Brockville, Ontario. Don't ask me why they were stocking a dinosaur product.

Yep, for a party with a bunch of biology nerds. It was only an okay costume, if I'm being honest.

Funny place to find that. I ended up buying mine from DeJankins, I think, although not in time for the party of course.

A long stretch between the last two entries, usually there is only a two day gap. Running out of reviews, or is it due to other factors? I have some more old junk lying around I can review soon...
