Thank you all for the appreciation. After spending so many years pursuing information about it and being made privy to stories few other people know I was loathe to relinquish it to another reviewer. Future reviews of mine will necessarily be shorter and more timely! Has anyone reserved the Mattel Styxosaurus yet?

Very glad I took the time to read this. Hugely enjoyable and very interesting. Loved the story you included of Zallinger "stealing" his own painting, that Curator seems like he'd be a very fun guy to speak to.

Just can´t help it, but somehow I have a soft spot for those Imperials. I love the diversity the blog is displaying at the moment - that Hallucigenia is phenomenal!

The plot thickens, the palaeontologist Brad McFeeters commented on the Palaeoscincus that he has it labelled as Scelidosaurus, but I was going by this packaging:

@Funk Oh no I meant your painted one. Wasn't that in that damaged figure thread? No idea, what that other figure is, but maybe make a post about it in the identification thread and folks might be able to help you figure out what it is or who made it?

Oh yeah, that's my childhood paint job on the rare Podokesaurus, though I wonder if it's just a knock-off, it's pretty bad quality...
