I had a successful hunt in Toronto this weekend! Almost bought the Safari Camarasaurus too, but then I decided it was just going to take up too much space on the shelf. Need to restrict myself to small sauropod toys. I already have a CollectA Proceratosaurus, but I've been wanting one with a base. Will simply toss the old one in one of the kindergarten classes' dinosaur bins; it'll be well enjoyed. And Paulwin the Dakosaurus was waiting in the mailbox when I got back today. ;D

I've posted a comparison image of Paulwin here:

Where do you get collecta in Toronto?

suspsy

At this place. Lots of Safari, Schleich, and Papo products there too!

Of course the dinosaur toy figures have evolved favorably since its inception until today. Now many of them resemble resin figures. I congratulate you on your new suspsy acquisitions. The woolly safari rhino together with the prestosuchus and allosaurus of Safari are three of my favorite prehistoric animals this year. Doug has done a good job.

PhilSauria

Nice assortment. I see that your Dakosaurus also looks like it's been eating ice cream! - I had to retouch the paint app around the teeth on mine - I'd expect better quality control from PNSO. Hope that this is not a sign of a slip in their standards going forward.

They will probably update the paint scheme as they have done on some of their previous models.

This is how young Diabloceratops males showed off for the females.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I finally managed to get some Invicta models on a low price  :))

avatar_Libraraptor @Libraraptor: I like this Diabloceratops very much, cool idea with this "Horn Circus", only the admiring Diabloceratops girls are missing now!

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector: Wonderful find and haul, I am a great fan of Invicta, too, but unfortunately missing a few of them!
Paleontology: Science for the love to dinosaurs!

Always nice to see someone appreciating and buying Invictas .

I wanted to buy some for a long time, but the prices are usually ridiculously high. Since you photographed the Schleich Diabloceratops in its proper pose, I'm considering adding it to my collection, even though its size does not fit my other figures...

CityRaptor

To quote my father:
"Pretty expensive for a piece of plastic."
( he was specifically talking about the Lambeosaurus, when I showed him the prices on eBay after recieving mine in a cheap lot )
Yep, the prices have gone up in recent years.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Mellow Stego

My wife surprised me with these today.

Keep calm and love dinosaurs

CityRaptor

Welcome to Jurassic Park. Surprised that there is no frilled version of those.
