There was a legendary figure between resin kit collectors: David Krentz 1:18 "Rex Mundi"

It was long discontinued.

Now is back in stock (for pre-order):

avatar_BrontoScorpio @BrontoScorpio : the one you posted isn't the "Rex Mundi"; it's the standard "Saurozoic Collection" (   http://stores.dansdinosaurs.com/tyrannosaurus-saurozoic-collection-finished-model-by-krentz/ ) ( https://www.urzeitshop.de/gb/custom-made-models/3110-t-rex-dinosaur-model.html?search_query=krentz+tyrannosaurus&results=73 ) and it's 1:40.
The "Rex Mundi" is a 4 pieces kit (1:18) and it's extremely rare (..or it was rare..)

 8) Cool! Blade will be happy to see this.

I would get me one if I didn't already have the Sideshow model.
David Krentz is the master of Tyrannosaurus sculpting.

I only have one T-Rex in my collection (Sideshow) and I was waiting the recast of this one, so for sure I will order it at the end of August!

The Sideshow Tyrannosaurus maquette by Krentz is one of the best sculpt never done (to me).  8)
I tried to acquire one but it's way too expensive nowadays..  :-\

Did any of you receive news regarding the release date of the resin kit ?
I did the pre-order in August.
I sent 2 emails to Dan's Dinosaurs with replies saying it would have been released soon..  ::)
But the kit is still "not-available for shipping".
It really seems that sellers are quite fast to request money but extremely slow to release products  >:(

I did mine around then as well and nothing yet.  I did see on facebook where someone received their copy recently and the caster said he had many more to make still.

Your right on the request money, I hate having funds tied up but I know sellers especially of pieces like this want to lock it down so they don't order and be left with product.    I have a feeling this is sort of a print on demand type thing and we're just in a waiting line.

..yesterday I received an email from Dan's Dinosaurs; my resin kit is finally available and it will be shipped to Sir Martin Garratt asap....   :))

Awesome! I'm still waiting on mine, but I'm in no big hurry, I have my hands full at the moment anyway lol

Sweet, Any idea what color scheme your going with?  I'm think mine will be a darker bronze.

RobinGoodfellow

I will ask to Martin Garratt for the Krentz' Sideshow color scheme..   ;)

Fenestra

I'm curious: Base - Tail - 2 arms - 2 legs - Lower jaw - Torso - and then ... what's the little spike for?
