I'm not avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector, but thanks, on both my and his behalf  :)

Thanks for the direct permission! I'm glad we can use and feature these models :)

avatar_Ravonium @Ravonium
Thanks for adding some items :) Also, the comments were used before, but there are only a few items being commented ;)

My list of the lines and figures I'm still wanting to add is this:
ReSaurus
Dino Waurs
Dinosauria by wild Republic
(Jetoar) Paleo-Creatures - The list not completed, isn't it?
Iron Studios
Prime 1
SEGA
Play Visons - Are there any items left, before I go into investigations?
Aurora
Fauna Casts
Dino Dream

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector Paleo-Creatures isn't complete yet, and I don't think PV is either (although I wasn't the person who added them). Ironically, I'm on holiday now, so I can't add anymore for the next three days.

EDIT: Also, thanks for making it so we don't have to enter the date we edited a figure's page anymore :)

DinoToyCollector

avatar_Ravonium @Ravonium
So I hope you have nice and enjoyable days :)
For the figures by avatar_Jetoar @Jetoar : I think I've added them all. I haven't realized how much figures there had be done - wow! And they are really, really adorable figures, especially for the choice of species  ;D

Halichoeres

There are lots of Play Visions figures left. I plan to update them soon.

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector Thanks! I'll be getting back home tomorrow, but I have quite a lot to do afterwards, so it'll be a while before I can edit again.

Incidentally, I don't think Jetoar sculpted the Paleo-Creatures Spinosaurus. I think that one was by avatar_Dinomike @Dinomike

Yep, you are right with this. Thanks :)
I will gladly leave you the figures of Play Vision and move on with others.

Just a (semantic) request: rename the 'most popular figure' stat in the 'Our Community' area of the sidebar to 'most owned figure', as popularity is probably more reliably measured by other stats (rating of figures; already something shown, or those who own and want the figure combined).

I have a few more ideas regarding this area of the website, but I think for now the priority should be on adding missing figures/models and lines.

I'm not a native english speaker so be sure to tell me things like this. I thought of the german word "populär", which is more commonly (also a good word) used for wide spread throughout the people rather then ... popular  ^-^ But both words originate in the latin word popularis and mean the same I guess. So I think I will go with "Most Owned" as you suggest to stay close to the "Most Wanted".

I noticed there is quite a few duplicate entries for the Mattel Jurassic World figures. There's two of the Dracorex, the (Super Posable) Indoraptor's, the Savage Strike Monolophosaurus, the Rhamphorhynchus, the Legacy Collection (JPIII) Pteranodon, and Pachycephalosaurus, two for the 2019 Battle Damage Pteranodon, and there are some other problematic entries.

There's also quite the lack of images for those figures as well. If you need help with getting images for them, let me know.

I've added CollectA's boxes and the AR line. I may add the individual figures in these sets later, to be consistent with toob/sets from Safari, Favorite and PNSO.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin I've deleted most of the ones you listed; I couldn't find clear duplicates of the Indoraptor and (Battle Damage) Pteranodon, but you follow this line more closely than I do, so I probably just didn't recognise them.

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector OK, two (EDIT: three) suggestions (don't necessarily have to be implemented now, but I have purposefully chosen ones that shouldn't be too much of a hurdle to code in):

1. In addition to the current ones, add the 'Most Owned' and 'Most Wanted' stats in the 'Our Community' sidebar. (but for companies)

2. In the 'Overview' part of the 'My Collection' page, add the stats for most common group, subgroup, scale, year and period in the collection. (don't bother with location: that's not something a lot of collectors consider when chosing figures)

EDIT: I'm also going to suggest this: add a way to search/sort by whether you own/want the figures or not.

Faelrin

So I've been looking at it again, and there's actually a lot of issues, that I missed, and come to think of it I probably should have linked below which entries are not needed, or needing fixed to begin with, that I did see earlier. I think I'll just spoiler tag this stuff as there's quite a lot.

For the duplicate entries:

Spoiler

For the Dimorphodon and blue Dilophosaurus 2 pack, there are two entries:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3251
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2282

For the 2018 Super Posable Indoraptor:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2279
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3249

For the 2018 Legacy Collection Pachycepahlosaurus:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3376
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2287

There are two entries for the 2019 Proceratosaurus, but I think one is intended to be for the 2018 Proceratosaurus instead?
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3256

There are also two entries for the 2019 Protoceratops, but I think this one is intended to be the 2018 one instead?
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3257

For the 2019 Battle Damage Pteranodon there are two entries, unless one is intended to be for the 2018 Battle Damage Pteranodon (the one with green in the name), of which there is already an entry for (of which only the prototype was green, not the actual figure):
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3385
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3275

For the 2019 (green) Legacy Collection Tyrannosaurus rex pack, there are two entries:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3373
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3361

For the Legacy Collection bundle, there are three different entries:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3360
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3358
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3365

For the Dimorphodon and Velociraptor "Blue" set, there are 2 entries:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2281
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3260

For the Gallimimus and Velociraptor set there are 2 entries:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2280
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3261
[close]

Redundant entries:

Is this blind bag entry really needed when the individual blind bag figures already have entries?
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3298

There is no Roarivores Pteranodon released so far in 2019, and there is already an entry for both the 2018 Roarivore, and 2019 Dual Attack figures:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3323

These figures have incorrect tags (and name?):

Spoiler

The Dracorex should have the JW Dino Rivals - Attack Pack tag: https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3048

Dimorphodon - Mercenary and Dimorphodon (probably should be with the rest of the humans, as Human - Mercenary & Dimorphodon). Tag has it listed as part of the Basic Dino assortment where it should have the Jurassic World Human Figure tag instead:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2971

Human - Owen (is technically part of the Basic Dino Assortment):
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2980

Human - John Hammond (should probably have the Legacy Collection tag, since while it is a SDCC/EE exclusive, it is still part of that assortment, in regards to its packaging):
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3418

Monolophosaurus - Savage Strike (uses the JW Dino Rivals - Attack Pack tag, but should use the Dino Rivals Savage Strike tag instead):
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3200

This Proceratosaurus should have the Basic Dino tag:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3434

The Rhamphornychus should have the JW Dino Rivals - Attack Pack tag: https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3049

Various - 15 pack (is part of the Battle Damage exclusive line. I would suggest the name be changed to something like Various - Mini Dinos 15 pack):
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3290

Velociraptor - Owen w/ baby Blue (probably should be with the rest of the humans, as Human - Owen & baby Blue). Tag is listed as part of the Basic Dino assortment where it should have the Jurassic World Human Figure tag instead:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=2969
[close]

Missing the year tag:

Velociraptor (yellow) (the battle damage one, which should have 2018 as a tag):
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3282

There are also several tags for the Legacy Collection assortment. I think it would perhaps be better to have just one. My suggestion would be to use just the Legacy Collection tag (which the Velociraptor and human character sets use), instead of the numerous tags for the various Legacy Collection figures, of which include the Legacy Collection - JP, TLW, and JPIII tags.

I would suggest for consistency sake to either add the product numbers to all the figure entries names, or remove them. I'm also wondering why many of the Dino Rivals figures have XX in their name? Another suggestion I have is to change Mutant (in the case of the Indominus rex and various Indoraptor figures) to Hybrid instead, since that is what they are considered in the films, etc.

In fact for names, I think just using species names, and that what line would be more clear and concise then what is being used for some of them. So instead of something like "Dimorphodon - Dimorphodon (grey)" maybe something like: Dimorphodon - Attack Pack (grey). Some of those already do this, but quite a many don't.

Figures that are missing (could be some more, like repacks, etc, that I might have missed since there's so many out there):

Can't provide any surefire answers, but the image uploading system on the website requires the entry to have a product number, so it's possibly to indicate that the product number is a placeholder.

Re: figure naming on company pages - I don't fully understand how the website generates them either, and it's almost certainly out of my control  :-\  (I can only add, remove and edit entries); in short, that's one for avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector to deal with.

DinoToyCollector

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin
Thank you for this detailed report. These Mattel figures were giving me some headaches, since I'm not really a collector of them for myself. I'll read through your post again and will work on this matter tomorrow, as I have to work in shifts at the moment.
The XX- naming comes from when I had no idea what the product number will be at release date. Although they might have been clarified since then, I had to think of a certain system that will work before I change them.
The same goes with the "Species - Name of the product" (Dimorphodon - (Dimorphodon (grey)). I searched for a system that works with all the different companies and that's not easy. It worked well with Rebor's "Acrocanthosaurus - Hercules" for example as they have a specific name for this. I have to rethink this, because you are right: it looks a bit off. Some of them are doing this, because of the query the page is running. So maybe I can fix it with a more complex query.

1. Sounds good. I can do this, but I have to keep it simple - I'll give it a try
2. I thought of something similar. Easy coding, great choice, will be done :)
2b. I'm also not that fond of the locations. This is on my list for changes since there are some inconsistencies.
3. This would be really useful sometimes. I will do this in future but it will not be a top priority.

Ravonium

#195
avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector Yeah, where the location feature runs into trouble particularly is when you're dealing with a genus/species that spans multiple countries.

In addition to searching/sorting by whether it's in your collection/wishlist, I'd also like to see a way to search/sort by how often it appears in the overall community's collections/wishlists.

I've done the Statistics part for the "My Collection" part. I think it's good enough for getting an overview ans also kind of interesting. I have more in mind for the future, but the lack of time and knowledge keeps my pushing it further away  O:-)

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector I see them. The layout and the individual statistics are mostly done well, but there are a couple of issues with them, highlighted in this image:

I've noticed that the BoTM Ceratopsians and some of the Rebors have been marked '2019', when they should really be marked 'TBA' - I'll deal with this at somepoint tomorrow - Done. I'll take a break from editing now.

DinoToyCollector

Hey, I'm glad it's working and yes: it is working! The scale error is probably caused by your collection holding a lot of items without a given scale. I'm going to fix this tomorrow!
What do you mean by "putting at the end of base sentences"? I'm not quite sure in which order I should put the sentences to prevent confusion. I'm to much involved in the coding to see this kind of stuff.

Also:
Kaprosuchus? Nice! Good thing I changed the sentence from "favourite dinosaur" to "prehistoric animal". For me it says my favourite is Velociraptor, what is a surprise, since I have no preferences for it  ;D

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector:

I meant that '...are members of Dinosauria-Theropoda' is, for example, better written as 'are members of the group Dinosauria-Theropoda'.

Same with '...belong to Pterosauria', except it is instead better written as '...belong to the subgroup Pterosauria'
