avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector First, I'm really sorry about your situation. Two, thanks for the permission. I'll see what I can get changed/added today based on what was discussed here.

Edit: Added some of the first figures from the LIFE: The evolution of life on earth series. Sorry if the black background on the images bother folks. They were .png files first, and I guess converting them to .jpg causes that to become black. Don't really have the energy or interest to re-save a different color background to each of the images unfortunately. This will just have to do.

I'll try to knock out all of the Ediacaran figures from that first today, and then I'll move on to the Safari Ltd stuff, etc. I'm sure I'll be quite busy on this over the course of the week. At least I have the time to do so.

Also I'm guessing @DinToyCollector may need to fix the company pic? Unless you know how to do that avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres ?

Edit 2: Ediacaran stuff all added now, including images. Time to move on to the other brand's stuff now.

Yes, that should be fine! Only the logo images require specific dimensions.

Yes, I can do that. Would you mind emailing me the original image file?

Alright so I got the remaining 2021 CollectA figures added with images (just used the ones from Everything Dinosaur's site. Hope that's alright). I also added the PNSO Miragaia as well.

Now I'm in the process of getting images uploaded for the LIFE Cambrian period figures that were added to the database today by avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres.

Edit: Got about a little over half the pics added at this point. Will add the rest tomorrow. Need to get to bed now.

A bit behind on dealing with the Safari Ltd, etc stuff. So my apologies for that, but bit by bit getting things added and caught up I suppose.

Edit 2: Added the individual figures for the Feathered Dinos and Prehistoric Life Toobs. I also added the remaining selection of images for the Cambrian LIFE figures. Next up tomorrow (probably) is adding the Ordovician pics and some new ones I got for some various Mattel figures I took today. Maybe I'll go through and add some more toobs for Safari Ltd tomorrow. On quite a roll with getting things added so far I suppose.

Edit 3: Still in the process of adding images for the LIFE figures. Ordovician done, and Silurian/Devonian almost done now. I also added the new PNSO Tyrannosaurus Wilson, as well as images for the PNSO Miragaia, and this new Tyrannosaurus. I used pics from Dan's Dinosaurs. I hope that's alright.

Does anyone have individual pics of the various Safari Ltd and CollectA tube figures? I just added the CollectA prehistoric marine ones, and I'll probably be adding more individual entries for both of Safari Ltd's and CollectA's remaining tubes. Please message me here if anyone is interested/able to help get pics of those to be added.

Also all of the LIFE figures have entries and images now in case anyone is interested in adding of those to their wishlist, or for browsing through them.

Edit: On a similar note is anyone able or willing to help me add images for many of the Mattel Jurassic World figures that don't have any yet?

Hi Faelrin, just sent a PM re the toob figures.

DinoToyCollector

I am so happy to see all the help from you avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin & avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres . That is very nice of you. Thank you so much.
Just noticed I was very sloppy with adding new items and updating new ones, although there are so much amazing new figures. There are still so much bugs and features I have on my to-do list. 2021 will be better. I just have to say it to me everytime, lol.
avatar_Duna @Duna great pictures of the UKRD items! I think we can happily use them. I have some items at home, too but couldn't catch some good pictures yet. I was wondering myself a lot about the Stegosaurus you mention. I was assured it's the Stegosaurus from UKRD but It was hard to identify all the right figurines from pictures and information available. I think a lot of information coming together thanks to the site and a lot of things become more and more clear while gathering all these informations.

Ezikot

First of all, I want to thank you avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector for dinotoycollector.com and I want to say thank you to all DTF members involved in the project.

I'd like if I could find, among the other "tags" (scale, period, location, etc.):
1) the formation where the fossil was found (Hell Creek, Oldman, Morrison, etc.);
2) the stratigraphic position (76.2-75.5Ma ago, 75.5-75.2Ma ago, etc.).
I think it would be really useful for dioramas and for those who like display together animals that coexisted. I know a lot of you are able to find those data in a second, if needed, but I often struggle in finding reliable sources (wikipedia, obviously, is not a reliable source).
I don't know if it is too complex add other tags or if you don't want to go that "deep" in paleontology.

Thank you again!

Faelrin

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector I'm very glad I could help pitch in.
Quite a bit covered over the past week. Still have a bit left to add I'll get too (remaining toob figures from Safari Ltd and CollectA, and Innovative Kids as well).

avatar_Ezikot @Ezikot Oh those are some really good suggestions.

Thank you avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector I think we can complete a lot of information of the UKRD figures and thank you also because I started my research from here ... :)

I will send tomorrow the individual pictures to avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres, thank you also.

I agree that this would be really cool but it would be an enormous undertaking. It's also complicated by the fact that many taxa are found in multiple formations (less so for dinosaurs, but fish and invertebrates, for example). Of course, most people probably only care about the dinosaurs, so...

In other news, the entire Innovative Kids "Gone Extinct" set has been added (https://dinotoycollector.com/Browse/Browse.php?Company=Innovative%20Kids). The set includes several extinct modern species and even one that isn't extinct, but I included them for the sake of completeness.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I hate to bring this up here given what's been said the last page or so but can anyone add the new Vitae figures to the site?
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Faelrin

avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx I can give probably give that a go. In addition to that, I think stuff for GR Toys (Spinosaurus, and Carcharodontosaurus), Mesozoo (Allosaurus, and maybe future releases such as the Prestosuchus and Spinosaurus), and maybe Mesozoic Life(?, Spinosaurus) could be added. I'm just not aware of how to go about adding images for the company category though, but adding new entries is easy enough for me.

I might need to add the new Papo figures too, if those haven't been added yet.

I also added a bunch of images missing from some of the Mattel JW figures, and have more to add from my friend in Germany I speak with over on reddit.

Yes, I can understand how much work it would require  :(
Maybe is there another, easier way to link together animals that coexisted?

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Oh and I've just remembered, regarding the yet to be added Vitae figures, since colour variations are included I'm guessing that means 2 Jinyunpelta and 3 or 4 Tiatiaosaurus, assuming the boxed versions don't count as separate?

So looking at the discussion that was had in the Vitae thread it seems there is at minimum three versions each of the figures (but even more for the Tiantaiosaurus in the case of its two color variations, not counting the Economy version). So from the looks of it there is Deluxe (which has a base, and more detailed paint apps), Standard (no base), and Economy (no base, less paint detail). I hope I'm understanding this all correctly.

Deluxe Tiantaiosaurus (Model A):

Deluxe Tiantaiosaurus (Model B):

Standard (A):

Standard (B):

Economy:

Deluxe Jinyunpelta:

Standard:

Economy:

I suppose I should add an entry for each of these? On a similar note, should I also add in the cheaper/poor paint detail versions of the older models (such as the Giganotosaurus)?

Also a small update but I added the 2021 Papo Megalodon and Young Smilodon finally. I guess next would be tackling the GR Toys stuff, and Mesozoo, and possibly anything else left.

I'm not sure how model numbers are handled for Vitae since they seem like a more boutique operation without really a catalog or distribution or anything. But the problem that arose with other companies like Safari is that there are multiple color versions with the same product number, so no good way to distinguish them in the database.

I don't think you should worry about adding separate entries for existing models that have less detail in later production runs, that's something that happens to most figures. If there's a way to do distinct color schemes, you'd probably want to keep it to major "intentional" changes, otherwise you're going to get into territory like they switched to a different shade of green because the factory ran out of the old paint.

It's also possible to add additional photos for each figure entry. Perhaps just add later variants there?

Gothmog the Baryonyx

On the contrary D @Dinoguy2 since Vitae still sell the original colour versions (though they now also give them an option for bases) in addition to the new cheaper schemes in line with their 2 newer releases, i would reckon they count as new products in their own right, the same as any repaint, even if Vitae are a little unusual
