On the contrary D @Dinoguy2 since Vitae still sell the original colour versions (though they now also give them an option for bases) in addition to the new cheaper schemes in line with their 2 newer releases, i would reckon they count as new products in their own right, the same as any repaint, even if Vitae are a little unusual

Interesting, is this true of the older models that have shipped in simplified colors? I assumed it was just standard paint application crappification syndrome. I know the new ones have separate "economy" versions.

If I recall correctly those first budget versions were initially thought to be bootlegs, despite the clear branding present. There is discussion in the Vitae thread about this and an explanation by avatar_REBOR_STUDIO @REBOR_STUDIO why this was done (and there is also discussion of the revisions of the older models to include bases).

Oh wow! I browsed through your website for a minute and it looks so good and helpful! Thank you so much for putting it together! It's definitely gonna be helpful when it comes to collecting! :D

DinoToyCollector

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on myself and the website. The last weeks and months have been very labor-intensive and exhausting for me. I had to be careful to keep my balance so as not to suffer any long-term consequences.
I managed that and for 1-2 weeks the situation has been getting better for me and I can increasingly focus on my projects like this website. But I would like to point out that at the moment the focus is more on the Wild Past Line. Updates to the page in 2021 are likely to be bug fixes or minor changes. Without professional help with programming, I am unfortunately unable to adapt the site to my or your wishes. But I think with the database that we are building here, we definitely have a good basis for further development in the future. Therefore, once again a big thank you to all those who keep the database up to date.

This is not aimed at you, but how come the new PNSO figure is up already but have been waiting for the new Vitae to be added for 3 months or so?

I'll try to add them up tomorrow. I was planning to add them a while back but haven't had the energy or have been busy with other things. I only added the new Parasaurolophus today because it was the fastest for me to do. I know there's a few more other then those that need added still too like the Mesozoo Allosaurus or GR Toys Spinosaurus (and whatever else I'm forgetting).

Edit: And if there's anything other then those, please let me know folks so I can try to add them.

I was going to add the new Vitae figures recently, and when I tried to work out exactly how many variants there are of the two most recent figures I postponed it and then forgot about it.

Well I guess I won't be getting to it today as planned. I'm doing some massive cleaning and rearranging in my room in preparation of getting a bookshelf I'm years behind on.

For anyone that has been waiting the following months, I've finally gone and added the Vitae Tiantaiosaurus and Jinyunpelta. I just went ahead and added the versions I was aware of in the post here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7338.msg278873#msg278873

I'll probably go and add the versions that got bases and/or cheaper economy versions for the older figures later (today if not later this week) if I can find listings and/or images for them on ebay, etc.

I'd like to go about adding the GR Toys (edit: Should I be adding Musee as the producer based on the info from the thread here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=8950.0 or would it be simpler to have everything that is distributed by GR Toys under that instead?) Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and new Dicreosaurus but I'm wondering if I should wait for the latter to release first or go up for order (if they haven't yet). I know the Spinosaurus has released and has like three versions I think so I'll try to get at least those worked out and added.

I'll also go ahead and get the newly revealed PNSO Carcharodontosaurus up as well.

Other figures on the to add list:
-Mesozoo Allosaurus
-Dino Hazard Irritator
-Mojo Fun Smilodon
-Recur's new for 2021 (and whatever else is missing, such as the Basilosaurus)
(All added now!)
-Any Rebor that has or will go in stock soon that might not be up there yet.
-Edit: I'm guessing I'll need to add in the missing Takara Tomy figures as well.

Anything else anyone would like to see added that I might have missed?

Thanks for tackling those. Meanwhile I'm going to try to get the Takara Tomy stuff up to date.

GR Toys Spinosaurus pair and Carcharodontosaurus pair added, as well as the 2021 Mojo Fun Smilodon. Working on the Recur stuff next. By the way is there anyone here that has the Mesozoo Allosaurus that could inform if there is a product code for that figure or not? Otherwise I may need to come up with a placeholder to upload an image for it.

Edit: Got most of the missing Recur figures added, as well as many images that were missing for many of the older figures (including the new ones I added too). Not quite done with it yet, but should finish this all up after my lunch break. If anyone is aware of anything in particular that I am missing for it, let me know. Aside from the selection on Dejankins, it's kind of hard to keep track of the ones on Amazon (short of using the links posted in the new for threads as I have been doing).

Edit 2: Got a good haul of them up now. I added some from here: https://www.recurtoys.com/prehistoric-animal/ and here: https://modellpferdeversand.de/Recur-8482-Figuren-Dinosaur-Series and whatever I found from the new for threads. A few I couldn't find product codes for so they use the ASIN numbers from Amazon as a placeholder. Most of the images came from Dejankins, Amazon, Recur's site, and modellpferdeversand.de. I'm getting some real pain in my right index finger from adding all of these today so I'll reserve the rest for tomorrow or later in the week.

Edit 3: I added the Dino Hazard Irritator, and Mesozoo Allosaurus to the site. For both company categories, and the GR Toys one too, there are no images yet (I'm not sure how to go about correcting that, or if I can). If you hover over it (on PC) you can see what they are.

Edit 4: I added a few missing Rebor figures that have since released, added a few images as needed, and changed some years of release as well to hopefully ones that are correct since my memory is a bit fuzzy on these matters. Only things missing still are the Rebor gorillas, and the Alien themed figures I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure if I should add those or not? What does anyone think?

Crackington

Hi avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin and avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres, I was planning on taking some more snaps during the Easter break, especially of the missing Safari toob and Collecta mini figures I have, plus some old missing Marx's etc and two ROM's I got yesterday.

For the oldies, I might wait to see what you post from avatar_Duna @Duna first though, as she has some excellent vintage figures and don't want to duplicate any efforts.

Thank you avatar_Crackington @Crackington I sent Halichoeres the pics of the two whole UKRD collections from 1993, that are quite a bunch, 24. If you would like to share the work, can I send you both the 1991 and 1992 collections to complete the albums in the web?
Then we can decide if there is a place for the other vintage collections I have, if they fit.

Thank you!

Crackington

Hi avatar_Duna @Duna, I don't have any UKRDs, but wondering if you were submitting Marx models too? I have a few left to take a snap of, including a nice Moschops I swapped with Dr Admin.

I just send snaps to DinoToyCollector, Faelrin or Halichoeres, I don't actually upload them myself.

We could swap notes on what we have vintage wise to see if we can further help populate the missing pictures from the site?

Yes, nice! But I don't have any Marx (excepting the three I got). I only have UKRD and most Spanish vintage collections from 80s-90s: El Cigarral, Danone, Miniland, Yolanda, Nilo ...

Crackington

Thanks avatar_Duna @Duna, we should be ok then, I don't have those figures.

I've just had a look at the missing model photos on the site that I have. The ones I'll take photos of will mostly be Safari toob and Collecta mini figures, plus Marx Allosaurus, Moschops, some Sega's and Kaiyodos, Timmee Toys Smilodon and those ROMs mentioned earlier.

We should be able to fill in quite a few gaps between the two of us 👍😊
