M-See Quetz will be a very limited release: 20 finished models and 20 raw kits.. that's all :(

You will need to get your in quickly if you want one!  I am not going for one.  It is too big for me and also a little outside my collecting area - there are things I want more.  And I don't like the lizards.

I'm thinking about ordering one or not.... I like it very much but it's also 500 usd plus shipping for a painted one  (probably around 650 usd with shipping and taxes).
And it's also quite huge.
I really don't know..  ???

I am pretty sure that for me in the U.K. with shipping and taxes it would be at least $650 and very possibly more. But to be honest, it's not the price that has made up my mind. It is the other factors.  Sometimes if you hesitate, it means that you do not love it enough!

Any idea?  ???

ceratopsian

avatar_RobinGoodfellow @RobinGoodfellow: I asked that on the Dinosaur Darkroom Facebook page but the only response from Musee Studio was a laughing icon.  So I am no wiser.  I find them quite strange because somehow they don't give the impression of large animals - they look just like "ordinary" sized lizards.  These perceptions are, of course, purely subjective!

Yes, I had the same perceptions.
It seems like the Quetzalcoatlus is a juvenile, not a full grown adult with these lizards.
I'm not an expert about prehistoric lizards or varanids.
So I'm asking if someone knows about big lizards/varanids that lived with Quetz..
:)

Fenestra

And I was wondering if the colours of this majestic beast were based on the purple heron.
Maybe I should ask? And get a laughing smiley too?  ;D

I think it's probably meant to be a Palaeosaniwa, if it's meant to be anything in particular. Those were roughly Komodo dragon-sized.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Interesting; thank you very much.

Dinone studio's Three Prehistoric Mammals 1/20

What a striking herd!
They are all in 1/20 scale, perfect for display together.
The Paraceratherium has an astonishing length of 45cm.
Others are around 22cm long.
Cuvieroniu was introduced in here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7463.46

Not something I collect but they are really handsome models. I'm very taken with the Arsinotherium.

Shonisaurus

The paraceratherium is fabulous pity that it is of a brittle material is more of an adult collector than a toy and if it were not for its price and for space problems I would buy it with the eyes closed. Gorgeous figure!

PhilSauria

That Paraceratherium looks awesome! Pity I can't afford these or I'd have that one in a shot. It's one of my favorite prehistoric mammals and one that I feel has never really been done justice in plastic.

I'd love to see Eofauna produce a Paraceratherium.

Totally agree with you. The resin paraceratherium is magnificent and justice has not been done with that unique mammal in a PVC figure. Paraceratherium is also one of my favorite prehistoric mammals.

avatar_acro-man @acro-man  Do you know anything regarding M See Giganotosaurus?

Die_Maulquappe

I have an eye on it for some time, but the pricing for all stuff from china goes nuts - really.
The base price is 30-50% over the sideshow pieces when they where sold 10-4 years ago.
352 Euro + 35 Euro shipping ... still no tax included.
I bought 2 pieces from china (over ebay)... it took ages and than BAM! message from customs authority... have to pay additional customs duties or it goes back.

And now in the time where a good 3d printer is available for 250 bucks and toy companies made more and more super detailed smaller models (sadly the best ones are chinese/asian again^^)
...I thought the price would stay or drop, insted it goes up...even for smaller pieces.

Same with the W-dragon 1/20 T rex ..... 460 Euro + shipping + customs duties .... pffff

It´s really sad that there is no european shop that has theses asian brands.
The UK shop Everthing Dinosaur has at least PNSO and Rebor... but no Nanmu, Wdragon, Itoy...

Hi Everyone,

Sorry to bump this thread.  I don't normally post on here, mostly a lurker.

I've been searching for a 1/20 Woolly Mammoth by Dinone Studio, which has been sold out for over a year now:

I was just curious, does anyone happen to have this model or know anyone that does that might be interested in selling?  Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks!
