Roselaar, preparing this list is more difficult than one would think. Thank you.  Nice to see good participation from the members.

Add:
Varanops (Shapeways)

Delete:
Hallucigenia (Kaiyodo + Dino Horizons)
Groenlandaspis (Dino Horizons) repeats Groenlandaspis (LK Yowie), however it looks like Bothriolepis (Kaiyodo).

SBell

-Moschops was done by Fauna Casts and Definitely Dinosaurs
-Meiolania was done by Yowies
-Embolotherium was done by Shapeways and COG/Prehistoric Panorama
-Hallucigenia was done by COG/Prehistoric Panorama
-Irritator was done by Bandai (a very small, obscure set)
-Wuerhosaurus is likely the Yowies stegosaur (square plates)

And someone here mentioned the 'kitandiryu' figure; I think that was meant to be Fukuiraptor (before it was properly understood), in which case there are several of those.

Roselaar

Right, here is my list updated again, SBell, I'll add your extensive list to it later. And someone please tell me how to properly spell 'Kitadanryu', I'm getting multiple options and I don't know which one is correct.  :-[

I don't know about Paraceratherium--given that it is probably synonymous with Indricotherium and/or Baluchitherium, and there are a bunch of different ones of that.

As for Kitadaniryu (from what I can tell, that is the spelling) the only references I can find have it as Fukuiraptor kitadaniensis, so it should probably be left out as there are several figures.

And are we including species that are done in different versions by the same company? And does this include different paint schemes--in which case Kaiyodo Series 1 Version 2 Siamotyrannus and Kaiyodo S1 Axelrodichthys wouldn't fit.

I know--I realized I missed it after fact. Most of my list was ones that I have and could confirm; I don't yet have the Cotyl, so I forgot about it.

And while you're revising--the Siamotyrannus needs to be listed as Dinotales S1v2 (it was the chase for the repaint series).  This is assuming that we are including figures that are done by the same company in different paint schemes.

And yes--there will be others. In part, because there will be second figures out there. In part because we'll miss some for now.

(interestingly, listed in here just might be the answer to my unanswered Guess the Figure).

-Meiolania was done by Yowies
-Wuerhosaurus is likely the Yowies stegosaur (square plates)

Actually, the Yowie horned turtle is Ninjemys, and so it's a unique figure. I'm not sure that you can call the Yowie stegosaur Wuerhosaurus, because the leaflet just calls it 'stegosaur', the illustration looks like Stegosaurus, and the figure itself is based on footprints rather than skeletal remains.

Rader Studios is currently selling a 1/20th scale Kaprosuchus, so you can scratch that off your list.

So I can scrap scrapping Wuerhosaurus and Meiolania, and add Ninjemys by Yowies? I'll revise the Siamotyrannus company info and kick Kaprosuchus off.

Seeing as how activity on this thread has suddenly dropped to zero, I conclude we're more or less done gathering unique species? Or at least, it seems there's little left out there.
If that's the case, I'll start collecting pics of these figures soon, and order the species we have compiled into something less lazy than alphabetical order.

At a quick glance.

Shantungosaurus isn't unique. Starlux and I think Sega have produced them.

Moropus has previously been made by Fol-Bo as a blind bag figure in Italy.

;O)

Roselaar

Okay, thanks. I'll remove both species from the list.

Roselaar

Before I begin gathering pictures, I want to make sure about a few more species for the list. How about the following CollectAsaurs?:

Eustreptospondylus
Shunosaurus
Majungasaurus
Rugops
Megacerops (by that name, not another like Bronthotherium)
Williamsonia
Monanthesia

Shunosaurus is part of the Predators line; Majungasaurus was done by the larger Sega Dinosaur King vinyls; Megacerops is tough, because figures labelled 'Brontops' are Megacerops after all, and Tootsie Toys and Nabisco both made one of those. I think there is also a Paleocraft kit of Brontops.

Rugops was made by DTFv1 member Ingenia, but I don't know if that was made available. http://dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=art&action=display&thread=3227

Harder to say on the plants--often, plants aren't labelled. I know that CollectA pictured a Williamsonia on it's boxed trees, but didn't release it.

Thanks for the reply. I'll hold off adding plants to this list, the situation is complex enough as it is. :)
If Brontops=Megacerops and there's figures under both names, both names will not be added.
I'll also skip Rugops at the moment.

So that leaves Eustreptospondylus.

Time for some pictures! Once again I must remind you that these pictures are not mine and I have usurped them for everybody's benefit here. You'll find various pictures I took from these boards and its predecessor, in the hopes my fellow prehistory enthusiasts will not mind their pics being put to good use. In case people are dismayed seeing their pictures around here, just let me know and I'll take them down, and I apologize in advance for my audacity.

I thought I'd pointed out that Ampelosaurus was also made by Dinosaur King:

On a similar note, here is a DK Altirhinus picture:

On the card, they had mixed up the Iguanodon and Altirhinus (this one was called Iguanodon) but all of their other info, plus the snout, point to this as Altirhinus.

If you go here I have several other photos that may be of use:

The link should work--the photos are public (but I maintain copyright).
