In the 80's they were everywhere. It wasn't just t-shirts. I had a cup with this T. rex on it. There were other dinosaurs too of course. There was some artist who was commissioned to do designs of the big famous dinosaurs and they were the ubiquitous thing every dinosaur loving kid had. If you don't remember them like I do, that's okay.

This was part of a series of designs for several familiar prehistoric animals. I just found a (kind of terrible) picture of me wearing a Pteranadon t-shirt when I was a kid.



I also had a Tyrannosaurus cup, I think I had a Tyrannosaurus badge, and I had a Stegosaurus bag. If that helps at all, I really am curious who did this design because I remember it so fondly from my childhood.
