avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp That's quite frankly what I fear. I expect this one to stick around for quite some time so I'm going to hold off on it for the mean time. I'll push it off for as long as what's feasible I guess.

On a similar note I'm still behind on getting the original Control N Conquer Carnotaurus (I really don't know if I will bother with Toro this year either as it really is a repaint, with some unique packaging at this point. I guess I'll wait and see if I like it in the show first), but seems to be enough of those to go around for the meantime to hold off on getting it for a bit longer.

I kinda prefer the head sculpt on the older ones...but the action features on this one are the best. I want it but I am still unsure..

Woah. I actually just cancelled my pre-order. I need to see this in person first. I'm definitely thinking the headsculpt is a step down on this guy. Which kinda sucks.  :(

How is the headsculpt worse than the previous ones? Even though I have no intention to buy it, from what I've seen in pictures and videos seems to be one of the most screen-accurate toys ever made, and now there's a whole 4K review showing how detailed and well proportion the head is.

Carnoking

Every time I hear those pistons firing inside that head to make it vibrate, a part of me dies inside. Sounds just as bad, if not worse than the mechanism in Hasbro's rampage Indominus Rex, and we all know how long those lasted.
It's hard not to get swept up in the hype of these new toys when you keep seeing people finding them for the first time on shelves, but this is one where I am going to force myself not to buy it until it's on sale.

Is anyone else puzzled at how the Pachyrhinosaurus and the Quetzalcoatlus have not received repaints? Be kind of nice to sell the former under its correct name. And the latter rocks. More people need to own it.

They probably want to let new Sinoceratops, the proper one, take the spotlight for now as to not confuse parents.
I'm sure later on they'll repaint/retool the sculpt though. Would be a waste just to have it as a one time release.

I'd argue that enough time has passed already. As long as the repaint is radically different from the Sinoceratops, i.e. red or blue or orange or brown of purple as opposed to another shade of green.

Does anyone have the barcodes or UPCs for the new Savage Strike figures? E.g. Scutosaurus, Echo, Delta

That rex head shake feels super unneeded. That's something someone controlling it could easily replicate themselves by shaking the tail I would think right?

I got my Amber Collection Charlie from BBTS today (which was my first order from them to arrive. It took a few days to ship after paying for it, but once it did it was shipped well, in that it even had a fragile/handle with care sticker on the box it shipped in). I guess I'm just waiting for the Dilophosaurus and Nedry to release, and I need to get around to getting Blue (and maybe Owen) later, to be caught up on the (current and minimal) Amber Collection releases. Also I don't know if it is just mine, or the darker interior lighting I am looking at it with, but the figure seems a little darker then I've seen in other in hand pics, though the Savage Strike figure is still a tad bit darker.

the hands and feet on the Amber figure look even bigger than the ones on the play line figure. Looks awful.

Sarapaurolophus

The head on Charlie looks kind of unfinished, like it's lacking the striping the rest of the body has. Otherwise neat figure. I much prefer this color scheme to Blue and friends.

Judging by the pic, I would say that they are overall bigger due to the figure being bigger, but are actually smaller in comparism to the rest of the figure.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Faelrin

The feet are definitely pretty big proportionally, say in comparison with the similarly sized (though not to scale) Beasts of the Mesozoic ones though it certainly allows it to stand without the use of the base, in a tripod pose, etc. I think the hands maybe a tiny tad too big, but it doesn't bother me really. I've probably been wanting and waiting since the Beasts of the Mesozoic raptor kickstarter for some highly articulated Jurassic Park/World raptors.

I do agree that the head could have been painted or blended better, but the lack of striping on the head is accurate to her look in the film (which neither the smaller scale Attack Pack or Savage Strike do quite right):

Also my friend in Germany just sent me a link to this site. There's a Snap Squad Parasaurolophus (with changing colors?) and Stygimoloch on the way:

https://www.meinspielzeug.ch/marke/mattel-jurassic-world-schnapp-dino-parasaurolophus-423213.html

I guess I got my wish from last year about (more) herbivores being added to the snap squad line. I'm still behind on getting any of these, but I really sincerely want the Parasaurolophus one at least.

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Well, at least one new dinosaur is showing up in my area of the US now. Just found the Edmontosaurus at Fred Meyer, a fitting graduation present!

Beautiful figure overall, although I guess I never noticed this thing has four equal-size toes sculpted to its hind feet. What in the HECK is up with that?? They didn't sculpt the Parasaurolophus like that, or the Callovosaurus, so why do it here? Also considering all the reference material, clearly including the very accurate model from Jurassic World: Evolution. Whatever. Great figure anyway like I said, but feels like a stupid, careless error.

Anyway, this gives me hope for other figures that have been out for a couple months in other places.

No problem  :)

Quick scan of the close-ish Target and Walmart in my area of central Washington today turned up zero new merchandise, so I'm happy I decided to grab Edmontosaurus yesterday, even though Fred Meyer charges $5 more for the Sound Strike figures than elsewhere. I know, I shouldn't complain when others are probably paying much more (although people should really just be patient...) for the Edmontosaurus. It is definitely worth every bit of the $19.99 I paid.

So has anyone else been finding Edmontosaurus in the US? I was surprised to find it myself because there's been no word here on the forum, unless it was quickly buried and I missed it.

avatar_ItsTwentyBelow @ItsTwentyBelow I got mine off Amazon a couple months back.

I'm planning on running out tomorrow (Spokane, here), but I'm thinking it may be a week or two before we start seeing any merchandise. It usually always hits the West Side first.  ::)

I'll post if and when I find anything, though!
