Holy crap, these things are selling quick from Minizoo. They all started out with about thirty each stock in hand, but in a couple days the Fukuisaurus is nearly sold out, The Protoceratops has sold two thirds, the Bajadasaurus is nearly gone and even the Diplodocus repaint has sold half. Oddly enough though, the Baryonyx doesn't seem popular at all.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Not surprised about the Baryonyx, but impressed that the Diplodocus repaint is selling well.

Honestly, the repainted Collecta diplodocus is an improved figure with its repainting compared to its old version of painting of the year 2013 and far exceeds its predecessor is a great figure even with its old version of paint. I really like the baryonyx because it has a base that is not removable and because it has no articulated jaw but there are other baryonyx figures such as those of the Favorite Soft Model, Schleich and even the Mojo repainted figure and its new version of 2020 that personally I like them more than the standard and standard version of Collecta, nor is it surprising that I have so little success in sales.

By the way, are they going to replace these Minizoo figures or do they have others in stock waiting for supplies to run out? I think the answer is going to be no.

I bought the entire Mojo 2020 collection and unfortunately the repainted baryonyx, giganotosaurus, mandschurosaurus, triceratops and tyrannosaurus have not been replaced and other figures are about to run out. I will undoubtedly wait for the Collecta 2020 figures to come to my Shop of a lifetime if everything goes well and no mishap happens. I'd rather wait for these figures indefinitely than buy them in Minizoo.

Minizoo is a fabulous store and its treatment is excellent but adtpostales has demanded documentation for a product that I bought that was the mandschurosaurus plus the standard shipping costs. I made all the orders individually to avoid exceeding 22 euros to avoid customs payments and unfortunately my disastrous postal service required me documentation and they have retained the package (kidnapped in customs). I would like to buy the protoceratops and badajasaurus but unfortunately I cannot for that reason.

Bary is getting like Spinosaurus..just too over done.  It just doesn't look all that impressive or at least different from pose to paint.    Doubly surprised on that Diplo repaint as well...I never really liked the original, scale was just too small to pull off the sculpt I think.

I think the new Baryonyx is a decent toy in and of itself, but coming directly on the heels of the superior Deluxe, it just doesn't seem terribly impressive.

Shame they didnt just make it a juvenile to go along with the Deluxe " adult".

I often wondered if CollectA's smaller versions are extra prototypes, an alternate or another option before they settled for a Deluxe size.
Then instead of "discarding "the  other option, they released them instead as a standard size figure.

It just seems redundant to produce a smaller version, but then it's also a shame to discard a nice prototype.

I guess that's possible, just seems..redundant? I guess?

The smaller sized Baryonyx that just came out is far from redundant. The movable jaw feature of last year's deluxe version resulted in it having too noticeable a gap in the middle of it's throat,so I passed on it.
And since the sculpt comes from the same cgi template as the bigger one but in a different pose,it's smaller size means I can get more species at once for the price of the one deluxe version. For those reasons,I really would not mind seeing smaller versions of all deluxe models. :)
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

DragonRider02

I wonder if they will make downsized Supreme pterosaurs, for people who find them too large or expensive.
I Wouldn't mind if they were made in flying position.

Don't worry, looks like they've been replenished already.

Thanks for the news. I'm glad that Minizoo has already replenished new figures. I wish that customs let me buy some novelty from Collecta or another brand Minizoo is a very cool online store with a super-friendly and pleasant treatment.

Btw, smok is the coolest name Ive ever heard for a prehistoric creature. 8)

Just "Dragon" in polish.
Sometimes i wonder how people in USA or UK pronouce "smok" or "lisowicia".

As for the figure it of smok. Did we know how it look like?

Same here. Looking forward to seeing some In-Hand pictures.

Hopefully these guys hit everything dinosaur soon, I want that darn dicynodont. Also, am I the only person not bothered by the moveable jaw on the Baryonyx? Maybe it's cuz my seem isn't too noticeable.

That's an idea, though I'd rather the alternate was true.  A Quetzalcoatlus in the same size as the Guidraco would be about 1:15 I think?  That would be cool.

Unless the smaller Baryonyx is closer to the scale you want I suppose.

I like the archosaur look just b/c as a figure it would be something different. Yeah Smok would be a good name for a dragon or a dinosaur. I pronounce it as rhyming with rock. And lisowicia as li-so-wi-chia...I have no idea if either is correct. :D

I think that the problem of the Deluxe Baryonyx's jaw for many people is not the seam, but the lower jaw of the figure has a closed mouth, where it looks quite too thick, unnatural and weird.

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.
