avatar_tanystropheus @tanystropheus I do not understand how Papo and the rest of brands of toy dinosaurs make so few replicas in tyrannosauroid toys that are not tyrannosaurus rex and the few they make are small or medium / small.

I think albertosaurus would be a good option for Papo if they did the same size as tyrannosaurus rex as long as it does not hold rare positions of posture and is a scientific dinosaur like Papo spinosaurus limited version.

I wish that some of the dinosaurs listed on your list became a reality as a toy figure by Papo. I would like figures of the same quality of megaloceros, pentaceratops, gorgosaurus and spinosaurus of this great brand. And I could even add chilesaurus even if it's an unpopular opinion. I really like the Papo brand chilesaurus, for me it is a good figure.

On the other hand a nothosaurus would be welcome in my collection as long as they are not made by the same sculptor as the amargasaurus, tylosaurus and plesiosaurus.

Irritation

Since three of my dream Papo dinosaurs have been made (i.e. Iguanodon, Ceratosaurus and Giganotosaurus) I hope that Corythosaurus and a Terror Bird will be made next year. It would also be neat if we get these creatures sometime in the future:

Tuojiangosaurus
Alioramus
Protoceratops
Edaphosaurus (Since they made a wonderful Dimetrodon figure in the past)
Irritator
Torosaurus
Gallimimus
Mosasaurus
Saurophaganax
Torvosaurus

avatar_Irritation @Irritation Of this group I would like above all the tuojiangosaurus, gallimimus, bird of terror (whatever), alioramus and the irritator. They are still obscure figures in toy dinosaur collecting that deserve a better paleoartistic representation.

Renecito

Maybe another limited edition almost accurate of a Dinosaur... to be honest I don't really care about their Dinosaurs anymore but I think they could make some really great representation of other prehistoric animals:

01- Purussaurus
02- Eremotherium
03- Pelagornis
04- Thylacosmilus
05 -Megalania
06- Gigantopithecus
07 -Livyatan
08- Mawsonia
09- Leedsichthys
10- Stupendemys
Favorite Brands:              Favorite Dinosaurs:
1 - PNSO                        1 - Carnotaurus
2 - Vitae                         2 - Spinosaurus/Suchomimus
3 - Eofauna                     3 - Therizinosaurus
4 - Carnegie Line             4 - Deinocheirus
5 - CollectA                     5 - Gigantoraptor

Arrow54

1 - the new dilophosaurus (apex predator)
2 - torvosaurus
3 - kentrosaurus

My combo for 2021 😎

Shonisaurus

I would like one of the following three tyrannosauroids:

A bistahieversor,

A guanlong

Or a Lythronax

Those three tyrannosauroids would be interesting for Papo to market.

By the way, wouldn't a paraceratherium be a nice addition to Papo's new prehistoric animal figures? Note that Papo has only taken figures of Mesozoic prehistoric mammals and animals from the Pleistocene / Holocene Ice Age epoch. He has never taken prehistoric mammals from more primitive and older times.

On the other hand, as a dark figure of a dinosaur, an armored dinosaur such as the zuul or the hungarosaurus would be a good idea, although the remains of the latter are still quite incomplete.

Atokensis

Concavenator
Miragaia
Mosasaurus
Shantungosaurus

triceratops83

I just customized my old para into a corythosaurus but would still like an official one anyway. And a gallimimus that isn't tripod posed with splayed legs and outstretched arms.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Syndicate Bias

With Nanmu and W Dragon I honestly don't care for papo anymore.

My only 2021 hope is for Papo to reveal their next figures soon.

stargatedalek

They could re-release the dodo, I'd buy it, potentially multiples for customizing, not sure I'll ever buy another dinosaur from them though unless they really step their game up.

It used to be I hoped Papo would handle the obscurer JP dinosaurs, but Mattel seems to have a much better handle on that than Hasbro ever did.

Realistically the best to hope would be they do a decent non-dinosaur ala this years Megaloceros, an updated dodo or a great auk would be my ideal choices there.

Papo have become lazy recently. Im fed up of there boring repaints shown as something to look forward to,because i sure wont be buying boring repaints no matter how well they might look. ID rather have new sculpts of t rex and triceratops which are long overdue...papo triceratops was around in 2005.
Another point is its clear papos artists or sculptors are the best of any company, but only certain figures get this treatment while others get short changed...
I dont get the poses they pick for some dinosaurs such as gorgosaurus and pentaceratops. I  understand  that they go towards dynamic poses but some are so odd and unnatural and that combined with inaccurate sculpts makes the figure not worth buying...collecta are the best all around company in my view despite the flaws they do try to get better not worse.

A bit this too.

I'd say Gigantoraptor, Albertosaurus and Galliminus.

Can't find those anywhere, preferably in 1/35, expect for Galliminus (larger scale) and I doubt Nanmu or W-Dragon will make them.
Well I'd like any brand to release these figures.

They just released a Gorgosaurus, what would the point of an Albertosaurus be?

It's just that I found the Papo Gorgosaurus to be really tiny.
Isn't it supposed to be bigger in the 1/35 scale or around, compare to the Papo T-Rex or Allosaurus for exemple ?
I'm a bit confused...I'm not the biggest specialist, and on size comparaison on the net I sometimes find it to be almost as big as a T-Rex slightly below 4 meters high, and other sources claim it to be 3 meters high, so about the same size as a Carnotosaurus or Allosaurus...

Edit:

Well I've made more researches, and it seems to be more in line with Allosaurus or Carnotosaurus in term of size.
But then again, the Papo iteration still seems on the small side...

Well I can 100% understand the Gorgosaurus argument here and no need for Albertosaurus, since they seem really similar.
So Papo Albertosaurus seems really unlikely indeed.

Syndicate Bias

I wouldn't mind an Albertosaurus. Never cared for Gorgo as much. Everyone has a favourite that they want represented by a company they like, I see no issue with it in all honesty.

I wasn't saying that they shouldn't make a Albertosaurus, but it just wouldn't make sense for Papo to release one so soon after releasing a basically identical species.

I personally really like S @Stolpergeist's idea for a bipedal Postosuchus. With their improvements accuracy-wise (for Papo) since the Kaprosuchus, I think they could pull off a mostly decent one.

Shonisaurus

I would like a bipedal postosuchus, but wouldn't a smok wawelski be interesting as well? It is a recently discovered archosaur that needs some love from a company of dinosaurs and in this case known prehistoric animals.

DragonRider02

Papo could make a really fantastic Terror Bird.

PrimevalRaptor

Concavenator could also suit their signature style quite well and Papo's medium theropods usually turn out quite well.
Even if the quills are still debated AFAIK I wouldn't mind seeing them go ham on it (just...please pick a reasonable pose)

Shonisaurus

I would sincerely like a male and female prolibytherium. It is a curious and rare ungulate whose antlers vary totally depending on the sex of that animal.

A representation of this ungulate would be interesting, at least in the male version whose antlers are more spectacular.

Or even a bramatherium or a sivatherium. Seeing that they have made a spectacular megaloceros I have the absolute conviction that Papo could make any horned ungulate with the same degree of quality as the so-called "giant deer" megaloceros giganteus.
