Looks to me like it's from this Xidi/Lontic set, and if I remember correctly it's marked "Edmontosaurus"

For sale here in the States: http://www.tedcotoys.com/p/dinosaurs-complete-set-of-12-models/dinosaurs?pp=24

But I bet it can be found on AliExpress for a fraction of the price.

That's actually kinda an interesting looking set, thanks for helping me out! The other figures in that line actually don't look too bad, they've got some nice colours.

Hey, anytime! I think a lot of the sculpts and paint jobs are borrowed from Dorling Kindersley books, so they really aren't too bad as action figures go. They're sort of like if Geoworld had a modicum of competence.

Okay, I'll admit, I laughed at that way more than I should have ;D

Just out of curiosity though, would you happen to know other sites where I could find these? Or a brand name I could search? I mean, I see the box has "DINOSAURS" written on it but I feel like that's a bit too broad a name to just google :P

Man, that's a tough question! As near as I can tell, the company that makes them is called Xidi. I'm told that this means "Happy King" in Chinese, and I've seen packaging that has a broadly grinning dude with a crown on. I have also seen similar packaging that has the same face but says "Happy Kin," so on STS, for example, and on toyanimal.info, that is the name usually used for them. I suspect this is a mistranslation. In the US, they are distributed by a company called Lontic, and that's the name used in Dinosauriana and on the Dinosaur Collector site, so I think most dino collectors know them by that name. In Canada, they're sold under the name Kid Galaxy (see Suspsy's review of their DK Placerias-inspired "Scaphonyx"). I seem to recall them also being sold as Kid Galaxy in a recent visit to a New York toy store, so maybe that's the current best bet.

Thanks for the info! I managed to find their website with all their dinoaurs, unfortunately it doesn't look like you can purchase these directly from their site

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji Not sure how I never found that! I wish they described their contents a little bit, but holy cow what a variety. I have a few of the smaller PVC ones in my collection because nobody else makes those species.

Man, I think I might even spot a few USL additions in there! Has a Dsungaripterus been made already? I see one at #9891 with a Therizinosaur.

Some of the modern animals are definitely unique too.

Some of them are on the USL (as Lontic), like the Aeolosaurus, Diceratops (Nedoceratops), and Saurornithoides. Dsungaripterus was made by Kaiyodo (UHA Collect Club) and Colorata.

I am trying to locate the makers of these:

A: These are built similarly, simple with no markings.
B: Says Safari but I never knew they did cartoony dinos.
C: These have cut out guts and are rubbery.

The Raptor in area B is a Safari Baby Utahraptor.

The figures in area A are both Marx or Jaru knock-offs I think?

Sim

The sauropod in area B looks like it's the Safari Authentics Diplodocus.  That figure and the rest in that series can be seen here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=1550.0

IrritatorRaji

Sorry to post here again so suddenly but does anyone know anything about these figures? Assuming they're just chinasaurs but if anyone's got any info on them it's appreciated :)

stargatedalek

6, 7, 8, 9, and the other small dinosaurs in that picture are made by AAA, that's all I know about them though.

Do you know if Safari did a T-Rex in this style? The parent figure doesn't look as cartoony. Still, I would be interested in a T-Rex parent or adult.

They released these two T. rex figures around the same time:

Looking for any information on this Giganotosaurus:

As you can see, slightly smaller than the Vitae Giga.

The sculpting style looks to be Sean Cooper's.
