Does anyone know the identity of this figure? I found the company once, but haven't been able to since. I know they made some other species, like Deinonychus, but other that, I'm not sure.

I'm trying to identify two dinosaur toys and what company/toy line they're from.

One is a T.rex that I had during childhood. Originally, there were two: One being yellow and green, the other pink and blue which is the one in the image.

There's also a Stegosaurus. It had no tail spikes, only one row of plates, and strange teeth. The Stegosaurus, I couldn't actually find so I found a toy that somewhat matches my memory(bottom left in the picture). In my recollection, Stegosaurus was reddish and bluish.

Any thoughts on what toys/models could be similar?

This one got a review on the blog, listed as unknown company, however, in the comments someone wrote the company would be Billy-V, though I`d guess the situation may be simillar to the "Nayab" Placerias, which has no stamp and is released under different brand/company names, leaving the origin of the physical producer a mystery:

Thanks avatar_Lanthanotus @Lanthanotus , Billy V is definitely an interesting name for a company. They seem to specialize in cheaper toys, so I wouldn't doubt your conclusion about them.

S @SuchianFrog95 Those look like dime store dinosaurs of the kind that are often sold in bags with no particular brand, or sold under many names but all coming from the same anonymous factory. Finding their precise identity will probably not be possible. Bumping your post anyway, in case someone knows something I don't.

There is a particular kind of Chinasaur with deeply excavated bellies, the top photo looks like one (maybe S @SuchianFrog95 can confirm), although that still doesn't help much with identifying a specific company...

Thanks anyway, still helps to have extra eyes.

I found the T.rex on Ebay at least, the description said it was from China. Does that count as a chinasaur? Not quite used to the terminology, though the definition seems sound. A lot of the search terms I used were "vintage", "1980", etc.

OpalRaptor

what is the identity of this Heterodontosaurus figure? I own it and I know nothing about it (except it cost me £1 at a dollar store in 2015)

brontosauruschuck

Okay, I gotta ask. They call it a dollar store but you spent a pound on it?

Doesn't it say anything at the belly?

A few new acquisitions that you may be able to help ID. See my recent Youtube video for video footage of these.

First up is this set of six bendable dinos. They are stamped underside with CE certification mark and "CHINA". They have little holes in the top where key-rings once attached. I know this because I have the plesiosaur from when I was a kid, bought from a gift shop in Tenby, Wales (if I remember correctly). They are made from soft plastic with wire inside. Is anyone else familiar with these? Does anyone know if this is the whole set? By the way, avatar_BlueKrono @BlueKrono if you're interested in the plesiosaur I have duplicates. And the same goes for the pterosaur avatar_deanm @Ciaphus Cain (when did you change your username deanm!?)

Next is this cute pair of small colourful dinos. They are made in a hard plastic, no marks. They seem quite distinctive, can anyone place them?

And lastly, this ceratopsian in hard plastic, marked "8 China". Probably just a 'chinasaur' but the number 8 makes me wonder if it is part of a set?

Could it be from when Monsters in my Pocket started doing dinosaurs in the UK?

BlueKrono

It shouldn't surprise you that the only one of these I've ever seen before is the plesiosaur. I have one that I believe is a purpleish color, though not any of the shades shown here. Definitely a wire in the neck. I would certainly be interested in one of this color.  :D

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think so, the plastic is much harder and the figure is smaller, plus it has no markings (the MimPs have small discs embossed with a point rating).

There were two purple-coloured plesiosaurs in the lot (these appear in the video if you're curious whether the colour is the same as your figure, at 15:05 https://youtu.be/a4xuZFRXBKc?t=905). Sorry, I'm holding onto the yellow plesiosaur pictured (that's mainly what I got the ebay lot for) but if the purple one is a different shade to yours, I'll put it aside for you.

This guy reminds me a tiny bit of the mini (I think) UKRD Styracosaurus.

Just quite a bit grumpier and with some more detail on the face, but maybe they took inspiration?

Does anyone recognise the grey Parasaurolophus with the stripy tail in this Ebay lot?:

It looks like it might belong to the same line as these unidentified figures of mine from upthread:
