The painting is improved but the sculpture is the same. I hope that in the future Bullyland will reveal new sculptures of new figures of prehistoric animals, although I am afraid that they will reissue all the old figures of Bullyland for example mastodonsaurus, arizonsaurus, batrachonomus etcetera with a new color scheme. I do not think that in the medium / short term they will make new sculptures, it is my appreciation.

PrimevalRaptor

Damn, that's a really nice colour scheme! I was always fond of the green one since I got it as a kid (maybe cause it reminds me of all the artworks of marine reptiles in murky green water) and I still like it, but this is much more fitting! Sculpt doesn't seem that much different from the original though from first glance.

Faelrin

Kind of reminds me the Carnegie one with this color scheme. I think it is really nice.

The new colours look pretty nice but unfortunately they don't really do anything to improve the quality of the model itself.

Halichoeres

That doesn't look like a new sculpt to me; I held my old green one at the same angle and it looks identical. Either way, I'll add it to the first page.

That's the best color scheme that ichthyosaur has had yet. I never thought the green fit well for a marine animal.

Dito. But I, too, think it´s not a new sculpt.

Shonisaurus

Unfortunately it is not a new sculpture, I know it from my own experience since I have it. It is the figure of the Bullyland ichythiosaurus some with a repainting that makes it impressive. Maybe it's good for collecting. As I have repeated before, the one that raised the Bullyland brand from the dead is good news for children and also for those of us who are collectors. :)

According to avatar_Everything_Dinosaur @Everything_Dinosaur On Facebook
the new Icthyosaurus is being pushed back until 2021 due to Covid-19

So I wonder what this means for the rest of there releases.

I read the article and understand that the delivery of Bullyland news has been delayed due to the adverse economic effects of the pandemic, so we will have to wait until 2021. I understand that this is extensible to the rest of Bullyland news planned in a beginning for 2020.

Halichoeres

I think at this point it's roughly even money whether they ever get released at all.

Obviously, Bullyland is saving costs and in the face of the economic crisis created by coronaviruses, they are waiting for a period of time to commercialize the novelties of 2020. Honestly, the figure that interests me by far is the ichythiosaurus from Bullyland with that new touch of paint, it is a figure magnificent.

Hopefully ED receives stock on this item in 2021. If one wants Bullyland to survive, it should be supported by at least purchasing the items that are decent, as is this one (see the old DTB review). There have been two previous iterations, colorwise, of this sculpt. This seems to be the best.

Varanops

I'm fond of Bullyland overall; I'm glad they have a new lease on life and I hope their investor never has to regret his decision to support the company.  I think few rivals come close to furnishing as varied a stable of Permian/Triassic critters as has Bullyland in the past.  I wish them well, and harbor high hopes for a quick return to their best efforts in figures to come.  Viva Bullyland.

avatar_RobinGoodfellow @RobinGoodfellow Thank you for your link, dear Robin, thanks to you, I have made myself my beloved gift of the Three Wise Men in Minizoo even though the order is late. At last I can have the Bullyland mammoth calf.

And there go my hopes and dreams...
I ordered the black version as it was shown advertised...
And received the previous blue one.
Does the black variant even exist?
Or is it just a marketing error?

As I saw, on Minizoo the old green/blu version is under the "new" section (with baby mammoth).
I'm thinking Bullyland didn't produce the darker variant at all..
???

The icythosaur was in amazon but its not in stock.İf schleich improves bullyland will improve too.

Thanks for sharing that. I hope it isn't canceled altogether. Such a striking color scheme, though I suppose the Carnegie Collection one isn't too far off from the looks of it, although I don't expect that to be readily available as a new figure (or repainted version of an older sculpt).
