Pretty cool to see them cover the rest of the species that the Toyway line didn't like the Ceolophysis, Ornitholestes, and Muttaburrasaurus for example. Congrats on obtaining those.

Some recent finds, a nice set of Carnegie figures that I never thought I'd own, Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, and Carnotaurus.

Congrats, those are wonderful acquisitions, about the best or the best of the Carnegies. I never thought that they would become hard to find, but the ones from the last several years certainly have, since they were top notch. I remember one permabanned member used to rage against Forest Roger's, but wow, was he wrong. Wonderful figures!

HOW DID YOU GET THESE? THOSE ARE LIKE GOLD IN THE FIGURE WORLD

Loon

S @SidB totally agree, these are all fantastic. Makes me want to go check out the rest of the later Carnegies now.

avatar_Stegotyranno420 @Stegotyranno I managed to snag them off OfferUp, for about $90 shipped I think. I guess that's quite a steal considering how rare these seem.

avatar_Loon @Loon Good haul there. I saw a lot on ebay recently with that Diplodocus, but once it started getting up there with the bids I let it go, simply because I was also trying to chase after the Carnegie Mammoth. Maybe one of these days I'll try to hunt for it, but probably not this year.

avatar_Stegotyranno420 @Stegotyranno The Carnotaurus is at least still in stock at the German Urzeitshop website, the last time I checked.

Edit: This site has it in stock too: https://shop.modellpferdeversand.de/Safari-Figures/Safari-Ltd-Antique-Corner/Safari-Ltd-Antique-Corner-Dinosaurs/Safari-Ltd-Carnegie-Dinosaurs-412301-Carnotaurus::5514.html

Jose S.M.

Nice Carnegies! while I like the 2017 Diplodocus by Safari, the head on this Carnegie one looks much better to me. Both theropods are also really good and love their paint schemes.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin thanks. Also, I'd check out the Dinosaur Park's website, they have the Diplodocus for $39.99 + shipping.

avatar_Jose S.M. @Jose S.M. I also like this Carnegie Diplodocus quite a bit. It does a much better job of conveying this iconic animal than the newer figure, I feel.

Thanks every one, but i live in california and my bugdet for the Carnegie giga is 20 bucks and for carno 20 bucks.

avatar_Loon @Loon I congratulate you and I'm happy for you. I did not know that Carnegie's giganotosaurus, carnotaurus and diplodocus were difficult to find in my personal case I am glad to have them on my shelves, they are still one hundred percent outstanding figures, it is a shame that Carnegie has been removed from the production as I have said in other threads, the positive thing is that it has been for the benefit of Safair.

Halichoeres

That's still my favorite Diplodocus. Just a gorgeous piece.

avatar_Loon @Loon Thanks for sharing the link. Hopefully it is still there later in the year. I got some other stuff I'm after first (such as the Rebor Acrocanthosaurus and Deinonychus, and paying my friend in Germany back for all the Bullyland figures he helped me get, etc).

Thanks everyone for the comments. Sorry I haven't been so active, but summer classes are starting up.

Well, I think I've given new meaning to "good things come to those who wait", or, more accurately, "those who check Mercari too often".

Finally, the Battat saved search returned with something other than over priced Terra figures and those horrid electronic versions. At only $20, this has to be my greatest find of ALL TIME.

I'd never seen these two boxes before, and boy, this is some of the nicest packaging I've ever seen on a dinosaur model.

There was also another boxed Utahraptor in that lot, but his packaging was very beat up, so I committed the sin of opening him. So here he is with a Maiasaura I acquired recently.

Shonisaurus

Congratulations on your new acquisitions, Battat's utahraptor (rare figure to find) along with Battat's carnotaurus for $ 20 is a good deal.

SidB

Well done on the the Utahraptor.

Faelrin

Man you've been knocking out of the park with acquiring a ton of these older figures. Congrats on finding such a good bargain for those, and acquiring them. The packaging is absolutely fantastic on those too.

ceratopsian

You really did strike lucky there!  Nice when that happens.

Carnoking

You already know how I feel about this... Using one of those stands for the utahraptor is a great idea!

Halichoeres

Nice! That's a hell of a find.
