avatar_Georassic @Georassic Thanks for the link. I have also made the purchase of the tuojiangosaurus. That is a reasonable price.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin I hope that over time they will make each of the small figures of the PNSO minis in a larger format. I want indosuchus, olorotitan, mei long and yi qi of larger size to give four examples.

I bought mine from Model Toy Center on AliExpress last night. I hope it comes as quickly as my I-Toy Paraceratherium did.

Looking at the spine, it does look a little outdated; but, PNSO are usually pretty good about accuracy, so maybe they have a reason? Still, it looks like the best model of this genus yet. In terms of detail, this guy is such an improvement over the 1:35 Stegosaurus they released.

Also, why does almost every PNSO stegosaur have to be green?

I feel like that's true of most Stegosaur figures in general, green with reddish plates. I'm tempted to get one and repaint it like this:

Cliché colors aside, I'm just happy to have a good model of another stegosaur that needs one.

lol, when I think off the top of my head, Stegosaurus is green, Kentrosaurus is orange, and tuojiangosaurus is some aqua-y thing. I do think that we can have diverse-r colours on stegosaurids, though I found Safari's 2019 scheme was pretty bland in my opinion.
On and off dinosaur collecting phases over the span of millions of years has led me to this very forum.

Well, my AliExpress order has updated as shipped. I don't know if this means it's actually on the way, or just the seller saying they did so my order wasn't canceled. We shall see...

PNSO really likes their Stegosaurs. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted a Tuojiangosaurus. Hey, who else pronounces it Two-Yang-osaurus?
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

I'm always inclined to pronounce the u and o separately, but is that correct?

I've generally said it as two-zhong-osaurus, like in National Geographic's Bizarre Dinosaurs documentary (where I first heard of it).

My pleasure, avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus. I'm glad someone else was able to get that great price. It's my observation that aliexpress prices are often lowest right after a new figure is released.

So have I.  :) I already have the ankylo, which has a wonderful painting, sculpt and price. I would like more of this line.

avatar_Duna @Duna I'm glad that you also acquired that precious tuojiangosaurus and thanks to Georassic

avatar_Georassic @Georassic Thanks to you I got that beautiful animal at an affordable price. We should honestly pass on those links to buy dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, the DTF members of Aliexpres just when a news comes out so that we can benefit from those low prices in order to save since life is very complicated and more with this demonic pandemic.

Regarding the pronunciation of Tuojiangosaurus:

The English name of the genus is taken directly from it's mandarin pinyin.
The "沱江" in "沱江龍" is represented as Tuójiāng in mandarin pinyin.

A close(?) approximation of how it could be pronounced by an English-speaker would therefore be:
Tw-o— j-ih-y-ah-ng— oh— saurus.

With the first "o" sounding more akin to how you pronounce the letter in "tour" and "or". Rather than an "oh" or an "oo" (e.g. Two) sound.

Bokisaurus

This one landed ;D More photos in my Collection thread with comparison if you want to see more.

Shonisaurus

It looks great thanks for sharing the pics, Bokisaurus.

Mattyonyx

I've noticed the third finger is painted black. Is it right?

Duna

B @Bokisaurus congratulations, it looks fantastic. I have the Collecta version. The PNSO has also the same iridiscent paint on the black or is it painted gren-blueish?

:o Now I really need to track down the rest of PNSO's stegosaurs.

Melon color aside, this is a sweet surprise! It looks cute as heck, too. Nice and chubby, the way I like my veggiesaurs. Goes on my wishlist without question. Now make a bigger Miragaia, PNSO. I'm rooting for you :-*

Thanks, avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy , that's illuminating.

Halichoeres

Yes, thanks for the pronunciation guide, Flaffy, that's helpful.

This is a definite buy for me, there really aren't any good versions of Tuojiangosaurus in a size range that appeals to me. I've had the horrible Imperial bead-filled version in my collection and I'll be glad to replace it.
