I find it interesting how PNSO decided to place the largest spike on the bottom row (of spikes), as opposed to the more conventional approach of placing it on the top row akin to the Safari figure.

Which is the more accurate orientation?

I'm surprised to hear that the top-row placement is more conventional. Most depictions of Sauropelta I've seen going back to the 80s have it on the bottom row. I'm not sure we know enough about the armor arrangement to tell which is more accurate. Technically, just going by bracketing, wouldn't the bottom row be more likely due to the fact that Borealopelta preserves the longest spikes along the bottom?

I'm happy with my Safari Sauropleta which I prefer to this new PNSO version.  Also, I wish PNSO would stop with the ornithischians and make some theropods and sauropodomorphs for this line.  The imbalance is absurd!  8 ornithischians, 1 theropod and 0 sauropodomorphs.  Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus are among the most overdone theropods too so PNSO has been disappointing me when it comes to theropods.  I wish PNSO would make a Carnotaurus!  There still isn't a figure of it I'm happy with.

It's kinda pricey, but I have this Carnotaurus figure and I can say it's gorgeous. There isn't a single normal toy figure out there that can compare to this.

Agreed. I'd love if PNSO made some more therapods. Especially some Asian therapods. Ex: Alioramus, Yutryannus, Sinosauropteryx, Xixiasaurus, Linheraptor, and the list goes on and on.... Honestly really hoping for Yutyrannus out of any of these. Fingers crossed. :))

Dinoxels

Would love more herbivores from them.

I have and love the little Safari Sauropelta.  But that won't deter me from the PNSO I think.
Likewise for me, unless the scale rises to much larger than 1/25; prefer 1/25 to 1/40 at the smallest.

Carnoking

I'm always for more carnotaurus.

Well I am quite happy with all the ornithischians, I agree there is a shortage of theropods from them. I would love to see PNSO do a (non mini) Yutyrannus too. Well that and (mini or not) Zhenyuanlong. Quite a many others I would like to see from them as well but nothing in particular. I agree about the Carnotaurus even though I enjoy the recent Safari Ltd one. I'm sure they could surprise me.

I would also like to see them do Lingwulong as well. Surprised no one has given it attention with how relatively complete its remains are.

Though I'd like to see a greater diversity of theropods also, I feel that a majority of ornithischians is desirable. I'd especially like to have more classics, like Camptosaurus and Hypsilophodon for example.

Same here! I'm glad bigamy is not indictable in the case of Dinosaur figures ;D .

Takama

Some of us are asking for more Theropods,   While im Wanting them to make more Sauropods in this line. Even if they will cost more then usual.

Shonisaurus

I would like PNSO to focus on Chinese dinosaurs and also make prehistoric mammals, for example paraceratherium in an acceptable size.

I just checked Carpenter & Kirkland 1998 and they only figure the cervical pairs, stopping short of the shoulder spine. They also don't allude to its position in the text. BUT I'm pretty sure Doug Watson consulted with Carpenter on the Sauropelta figurine--though I'm not sure if Carpenter would have been informed on Borealopelta's shoulder spine at that point, which would probably have been around 2014.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Can't wait for mine! Where did yours come from?

Andre

Just saw on Sauropelta's box the #38. Spinosaurus was #35, so that leaves #36 and #37.. I imagine it is the Parasaurolophus and the Tyrannosaurid..
