Two well preserved skeletons of a basal ornithopod, thought to have died in their burrows. From the Liujiatun Beds of the Yixian Formation, Liaoning Province. The link is to a layman's article but there is a link at the end to the journal publication. Appears not to be paywalled.

I hope that some PNSO, Collecta, Papo, Safari or any other company at some point will reproduce that beautiful dinosaur on a large scale. It's an interesting dinosaur judging from the article.

Interesting. Another dinosaur that perished in its sleep, and exquisitely preserved, much like Mei long (which this seems to have been or possibly a contemporary with as well). I also hope to see someone produce a figure of this adorable dinosaur as well. There are far too few figures of basal ornithopods (or ornithischians in general) out there as is.

What an amazing find, and some very interesting possibilities presented.  Makes me wonder how many other known dinosaurs burrowed, and we just aren't aware of it.

Gorgeous fossil. Wouldn't mind PNSO taking a crack at it.
