Iv seen so many documentaries over the years not just prehistoric life but all types of interesting topics from history of video games to Norse mythology and so on and yet , recently while these topics still get alot of smaller features on youtube as well as major documentaries covering 2 or 3 hours worth of quality content well filmed in hd ,i dont see dinosaurs getting these multi hour features anymore at least in the last few years.
Iv mentioned before i didnt like dinosaur revolution, because it wasn't serious enough and the cgi scenes weren't entertaining or informative enough ..compared to other documentaries iv seen in the past.
clash of the dinosaurs i did like but the only fault i had was the limited cgi scenes and that it would have been better as a one off 2 hour feature..not a mini series.
get that Jurassic fight club was criticized for poor cgi and made up fights but i really liked it and i wish there had been series 2.
Another favorite of mine is monsters resurrected...i get that it was criticized as well for accuracy but i liked the set up and it was interesting and it was entertaining...

JFC and MR are not documentaries. They're trashy awesomebro shows with "science" in them.
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

I just want Documentary Now! to parody a dinosaur documentary already.

S @Stolpergeist thank you for sharing that. I never thought I'd become so attached to an excavator. Also, I lost it when the narrator said the excavator was looking for "a bride".

yes its similar ,but i still consider them part of the documentary range rather than just some series and iv seen plenty to know the difference ,even so the main thing is that dinosaur flims or features are getting short changed compared to other subjects...and thats a fact ,no matter how many youtube features they are about dinosaurs .
