Intriguing, and that Sinosaurus has non-pronated arms too. If its not huge, I think I'll get that one.

The TRUs here in Ottawa have not got any Recur toys, but I'm not surprised. It'll probably be at least a month or two before they start stocking them.

The website hadn't even added the brand yet.

TRU's website is totally unreliable for determining what's actually in their physical stores. I was at one just today and there were a bunch of Jurassic World and Transformers toys on the shelves that are nowhere to be found on the website.

Toys R Us is very reliable here in that it doesn't exist anymore.

That sinosaurus is light years away in quality compared to all other Recur products by far the best dinosaur and prehistoric animal ever made by Recur. Is it made of a more expensive material? Recur has improved a lot with that figure.

This actually looks pretty decent. As far as I know, the only other time a company has even pretended to do a Sinosaurus was the IToy "Dilophosaurus sinensis."
This just makes me sad about Recur's usual output
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

Flaffy

Well, it sure ain't the prettiest figure, but it's miles ahead of what Recur usually puts out. So that's a win in my books.
A better paint scheme would've done wonders for that sculpt though, right now it looks very toy-like, which totally doesn't live up to the packaging. If the artwork's any indication of their next project, I would definitely be pleased to see a proper Yangchuanosaurus figure, as all current versions on the market are based off outdated reconstructions.

Pics from our fellow collectors in China.

sauroid

thanks for the pics avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy. is it a solid plastic figure unlike their usual soft ones?

Baby steps. CollectA and Safari's dinosaurs were pretty bad once too.

I hope that one day Recur will be as cool as Collecta, Safari (they are likely to succeed) and even make figures of the same quality from PNSO, iToy, Rebor, Nanmu or GR Toys.

This new figure indicates that they have improved a lot, with respect to the previous figures that were of a much more childish audience.

Kapitaenosavrvs

That looks promising. I have to say, that i kind of like the sculpt. Paint is toyish, but that is changeable. And this comes with a Book? Is it possible to aquire this somehow. Sometimes?

Also, i read, that Recur is Ankyl Toys? Or that they market Stuff with this name?

There were a lot of new Models and Toys in their news. I am curious for the Minis, too.
