dinosaur storage vaults

Iv noticed that most major museums have storage vaults or rooms that are as big as warehouses in some cases,but i also read that while most are accessible to anyone there is a few that not even the experts or any specialists can see. This has lead me to guess that maybe they are the radioactive bones ,but im not sure.
Another thing is some of these storage rooms are huge with level after level of skulls,leg bones and vertebrae,its a shame there has been no tv series that explores the vaults or bone rooms in each major museum.
Occasionally some program will spend 3 minutes in the storage rooms but thats usually if they are only looking at one particular fossil...
This is another area that doesn't get explored enough and a few articles and short 3 minute videos focusing on one area of any dinosaur bone room isnt good enough in my view.. it should all be videoed in hd in case that someday some of the fossils might be removed or get damaged beyond repair...

Why would the bones be radioactive?

They're probably secretive because they don't want anyone else publishing on stuff they're hording storing before they eventually get to it (assuming they ever do as most such collections continue to bring in new stuff and typically focus on that first).

And it's a halfway understandable mentality, as not long ago the worth (and funding) of institutions was often measured on their ability to publish on the "newest and most interesting" content. It's no surprise many administrations are still working under that mentality.
