My Spiral Studios Shimo had a shipping soon, shipped , and arrived in a week from BBTS.

The kiss repaint is delayed until May apparently, from what I'm seeing on chinese and australian retailer sites.

Makes me sad Apple never pursued the prospects of official merch for PP...

If i haven't got original already , i would be upset to select between those. Blue Rhino vs Prehistoric Planet. Both look great on the model.

Oh wow. It turned out looking better than I thought it would based off of the promo images. Just put my pre-order in on BBTS!

Came out looking good, will look great next to the original one.

It's cool how colors can change the impression. This looks more peaceful compared to original.

Took one of the previously posted images above and tweaked the light and color, to see if I could get a better look at the paint app...

This repaint reminds me, very approximately, of the Wild Safari repaint of their feathered rex, which I had acquired, following the original release, which I also have. But I'm not sure if I would get this new Rebor release (space is a real issue). If I did, I'd get it's tail permanently attached and have a better transition made, paint-wise, between the body and tail (which I also did with my original 'Kiss".

It looks really good.
For me the real issue was the mouth that would not fully close once open, it kills the purpose of lips.
I hope they improved that on this version.

I always interpreted that position as a sort of 'smirk', or at least the suggestion of one.

I won't be opening the mouth on this one, for this exact reason.

Mine closes perfectly. I purchased it in the first wave.

As I did, pre-ordered first day. OPened the mouth once, now closes with 1.5mm gap.

Of my articulated jaw theropods, I'd say half are compromised in terms of opening/closing, and not just REBOR either, it hits any maker. I have a few Nanmu with serious jaw issues.

Joliezac

I preordered my "Kiss" day one also. Mine's jaw does not close completely. It doesn't bother me, but it does look like the image above.

Goodness the new paint app is gorgeous. I might even get two of these, they looks so damn good.

All my Nanmu were fine, where almost all the Rebor has mouth closing issue.
That said I managed to fix all my Rebor Velociraptor.
I closed their mouths and put back the elastic they provided with the figures, but I guess any other will do it.
Leave them like that for weeks, or even longer, months or years.
I think mine kept theirs for at least 2 years or maybe more, to the point the elastic cracked themselves over time.
Make sure the mouths stay close all this time, and that that there is a good temperature variation depending of the season: hot in summer and cold in winter.
This is a long term treatment  ;D
All their mouths now fully close just fine.

The hot water or hairdryer technics never worked for me.
