'Prehysteria!' is a series of three fun, family-friendly movies about the adventures of five adorable miniature dinosaurs named after famous singers.

I remember watching the first one when I was a child, and absolutely loved it. Couldn't remember what it was called for many years until I stumbled upon it again a few years back. I have not seen it since, but I fear it would not hold the same appeal to me now, because my imagination has been hampered by reality a long time ago (in a similar vein, Jurassic Park has lost a tiny bit of its magic and wonder once I was old enough to realize that no, those are not real non-avian dinosaurs on the big screen, but on the other hand I have gained a massive interest, and appreciation for the special effects team's work, such as SWS and ILM to bring them to "life"). But who knows, it be charming to revisit at the very least, if I ever get the opportunity.

I recently revisited Prehysteria! and like most dinosaur movies the dinosaurs themselves are the only highlight in the movie. In typical 90's family movie fashion it doesn't hold up well as a family movie either. I remember seeing the second one as a kid and hating that one even then.
