"Mesozoic Life" Spino fundraiser toy on Kickstarter

I only just found a heretofore unknown-to-me Kickstarter page linked to an ad on the world-famous Beasts/Mesozoic Tyrannosaurus Kickstarter page. I wonder if anyone has already written about it hereabouts: basically, is it legit?

The Spanish sponsor allegedly wants to produce a series of CGI doc shorts, to which fundraising end he is dangling an exquisite Spinosaurus PVC figure (the first of a projected tie-in toy series) said to have been designed by BM's Raul Ramos -- est. delivery as soon as Jan 2022 (!).

The toy is gorgeous & the bit of animated footage he's provided certainly looks promising, but skeptical me is wondering...... I am fundamentally ignorant here; any insights from my learned colleagues are welcomed. Many thanks!

Yes, it's legit, more than a few members here have pledged to back the project. Unfortunately, it appears that due to a lack of cross-platform promotion, the project will go unfunded for a second time. Shame, really. The figure does look nice, and the video footage is compelling as well. Hopefully they'll find another way, and be third-time-lucky.
