h/t avatar_RobinGoodfellow @RobinGoodfellow for highlighting this elsewhere. Thought it might be easier for some folks to find if there were a thread in the "New for 2023" section.

Wonders of the Wild series

Elasmotherium, available in brown or black

Spinosaurus terrestrial variant

Life reconstruction and fossil replica. It just says "Trilobite," but resembles Olenoides.

Life reconstruction and fossil replica of an ammonite, but labeled "Nautilus."

Smilodon/dire wolf face-off

Thanks for sharing! Not quite a prehistoric release, but probably plenty of people around here interested in it, so I've added it to the OP.

Blade-of-the-Moon

They need a few more Harryhausen dinosaurs.  While the films are great it's still essentially a BIG Gorilla.

Flaffy

I was under the impression that Elasmotherium had a boss-like structure rather than a massive horn?

Halichoeres

The base sculpt is re-used from Cooper's Paleocraft model kit line. While I'm not certain of the release date of that kit, I think it was before the Elasmotherium study that proposed a boss in place of the horn.

Anybody know what those birds are supposed to be? I'd guess they're the work of Kaibutsuya rather than Cooper.

Yes.
I have this model in my collection.
Of course, it's not from Star Ace.
It was a resin kit from Sean Cooper.
I bought it on 2019 (assembled and painted by Michael Kampa).
The figure was already available on 2015 as a raw kit.

Thanks for the confirmation, avatar_RobinGoodfellow @RobinGoodfellow, I knew I'd seen a build-up of that somewhere. The Elasmotherium study Flaffy is referring to is only from last year!

I bought mine in 2012 and it wasn't new then.

Most of "Wonders of the Wild" figures are Sean Cooper' classics, from his resin kits: Mammoth (v1), Dunkleosteus, Concavenator, Tyrannosaurus, Elasmotherium.
All of these are available as resin kits as well.
Buying them from Star Ace is a good way, for resin collectors, to have Sean' classics already finished and with a nice price.

This just appeared for pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store, so I assume it's new for 2023:

Harryhausen Triceratops vinyl model kit from One Million Years B.C.

Coming soon, landlubber Spinosaurus with somebody's ribcage and thoracic vertebrae. Without a fish, what's the point?

Also, "S. maroccanus" is a strange choice.

I guess this is a dinosaur, after a fashion. Harryhausen Rhedosaurus from The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, available in color or classic grayscale:

I bought the first release in color with a car it's crushing..not really looking to double dip again for a boxcar.  XPlus needs to give us a couple more dinosaurs.

Halichoeres

I'd completely forgotten there was a previous release with a car!

I'm still kicking myself for buying the Rhedosaurus without the car. I added an NYPD car model from the movie's time frame. but it needs a cop with a shotgun to complete it.

Over9K

I don't get it... why re-release the exact same figure, in the same material, only changing the base?

Makes no sense...
