Awesome! My second one is due tomorrow I think.

Earl arrived! I love him, he's great.

So I know I talked up the head stands a lot, and they DO work, but Earl has such a large socket that there's no real attachment that fits. But you can still plunk the extra head on the head stand and it'll balance. I'm torn between which head to display. They're both so great.

He's pretty awesome, a big chunk of plastic too, no worries about him falling over lol

Good to know.  There are so many fun scenes to do with these, they even captured the exact hand poses.  it's hard to choose.

I've got him holding the remote in one hand and a Lava Lager in the other hand.

Watching the show again, there are so many expressions they could use for additional heads. Those animatronics were incredibly expressive.

If we don't get another Earl, I'm sure we'll at least get some kind of accessory set.

They were great, I never even thought of them as puppets or costumes. Right up there with The Dark Crystal in terms of detail.

His chair and TV set ( showing either Mr Lizard or Howard Handupme would be great. I really hope they at least give us the core family though.

2nd set to use the different heads 🙂. Also a comparison with my original earl sinclair from the 90s

It just occurred to me, Baby didn't come with his egg and nest. Maybe a Fran accessory. It was pretty iconic when he hatched.

I had that original Earl figure! I was surprised at how on-model it was for a toy of the time. But also bugged me he couldn't actually hold any accessories.

Right? You should have seen me trying to get him to hold that lunchbox.  I think it was modeled on the Earl maquette made from the studio. If you watch the episode where Earl becomes a super hero there is a WESAYSO toy based on him that is basically the maquette and this figure looks like it scaled down.

I need a way to get these in the UK. I saw that BBTS ships here, but are they any good at it?

I'm sure there are Neca dealers in the UK. BBTS I think does well shipping overseas. I seem to recall some members ordering things from for Europe delivery?

Maybe just not yet?  I haven't seen them at retail only online in a couple retailers.

He should have tried a few scenes from the show with both figures there are some good ones you can do.

I wonder... if they were to make Fran and Charlene, would the sculpts be based on the original versions of those characters, or the more frequently used ones from the later seasons?

I would help later seasons. They were more frequently used than the S1 models. Those had limited facial expressions. They could do an alternate head for them which would essentially let you do both.  Charlene would need a replaceable tail too lol

Charlene has less iconic accessory potential than some of the rest of the cast, aside from clothing items like that one living scarf, so i'd hope she might come with a minfigure of Stan the Bunch-Beetle and maybe a Pangean Globe to allude to her idea of the earth being round on top of that

That's true. She didn't have a lot of stories that totally focused on her that were as memorable as say Robbie or maybe that's just me being a teenage boy and relating more to him.  She did have the trained humans too but that would be a lot of accessories lol  They could almost pack her with her friend Mindy as a set as her best friend was almost as much of an accessory as anything she wore or did  ;D  and I just want more figures ;)

I'd go with :
swappable heads
Swappable tails
couple outfits
telephone / globe/ scarf ( played by Tim Curry just fyi ) https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Tim_Curry
other creatures : Stan the Bunch Beetle, General Chow ( that was a shining episode for her)

If they do a Chow, they need to pack in Cabby too. Both the Cookie Creature and the Caveman Cookie came with Baby, so I have hope. Perhaps there could be a Francois Poupon model, that annoying bird exchange student that took Charlene's place in the family.

Tim Curry plays the Dinosaur Devil as well, doesn't he? From the Fernhill Mug episode? I heard he plays a lot of other characters in Dinosaurs.
