Quote from: Rayeknor on October 16, 2024, 08:07:29 PMI'd like to see a Haolonggood giraffatitan, though I think the W dragon one will be tough to beat. It's only weakness is a maybe too thin profile and elephantine instead of the correct scaly skin.

Yes I would actually like a Giraffatitan as well, and will decide between Brachiosaurus and Giraffatitan.
I want an accurate version of the JP1 Brachiosaurus, and that might be the Giraffatitan actually ?

I also hope their future sauropod will share the same neck and head orientation ?
I like to display them all on the same size.

Quote from: triceratops83 on October 17, 2024, 05:00:35 PMI think someone mentioned a while ago Dreadnoughtus, but if Haolonggood does any more supersized Sauropods, I hope they avoid Titanosaurs. Brachiosaurus seems likely, but others that would cool would be Barosaurus, Sauroposeidon and maybe (if you're into really fragmentary specimens) Maraapunisaurus. I think something like Bruhathkayosaurus is superfluous after Argentinosaurus.

After Brachiosaurus (or Giraffatitan) I would like to see a large diplodocine and I would be happy about any genus. Of course something like Barosaurus or Supersaurus would be the most interesting choice. But even Diplodocus hallorum would be great. I know there is the Eofauna Diplodocus carnegii, but this is in 1:40 scale and therefore a bit too small.

I think the only titanosaurs I'd be interested in after this are either the really small species like Rapetosaurus and Magyarosaurus, or Sauropodeidon which may or may not be a titanosaur but looks quite distinct regardless.

I hope the Utahceratops becomes available soon!  And I'm also interested in seeing the brachiosaurid and any theropods!

I pre ordered the green Argentinosaurus, as I definitely find it the most attractive colour scheme. Shipping to where I live is ~110 usd so not cheap. It's gonna dethrone Nanmu's Limted Edition Spinosaurus for most expensive model I've ever bought! As such probably wont be getting very many, if any more figures the rest of the year.

The green one is also my second favorite after the purple one. The combined subtlety and complexity of the paint scheme wins out over the more basic dark scheme on the green one. As of time of writing there is one purple available at Lana.

I don't think any of the regular reviewers are getting the Argentinosaurus, so I hope that someone submits a guest review of it!

I preordered HLG-131 (green?) which Lana Time refers to as "Limited".....any clarification of what "Limited" refers to?

REBOR is enough for Hallorum. 84 cm would make 29-30 meter animal.

Eofauna is 66-68 cm , that would make it 23-24 animal which is around lower average size for Carnegii.

I certainly expect diplodocus from HLG. Maybe even from PNSO. Extra long tail, possibly at last part of the tail.

Blue mamenchi and Grey alamo are also limited. Not that limited from what i have seen.

The Eofauna Diplodocus is very nice, but I passed on it as I wasn't a fan of the horizontal pose. I was hoping for a more updated erect neck posture. Wasn't a huge fan of how the head was executed as well, would've benefited from having a closed mouth imo to make the painting process easier (i.e. less chance of sloppy paint).

Yeah I've been wondering that too. Maybe limited to a single production run? So the initial number of units produced were all the same between the three variants, but only two of them will ever see future production runs.

Definitely not as scarce as the Purple Special Edition Argentinosaurus though.

So are the Argentinosaurus pre-orders over after today the 18th on Lanatimeshop, or it's just the gifts that won't be included, and you can still pre-order ?

I'm pretty sure you can still pre-order, they just mention that the bonus gifts will not be included after the 18th.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Ok thanks, I probably need to see more before deciding which one I want to get.

I just checked on La-Na, it still says you can "Add to Cart" So pre-orders are definitely a go, just no free gifts.

I like horizontal necks on diplodocoids, but my goodness does it makes the Eofauna Diplodocus long.  I could barely fit it into the space I had.  My Eofauna Diplodocus doesn't have sloppy head paint and I like that it has an open mouth.  I would be happy with a raised neck on a Barosaurus figure though.
