I paid for air mail to send my Argentinosaurus. $90US, so about a $140AUD for me.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Maybe too much flash? But the brown seems very light. All the spotting doesn't blend so well?

I noticed all 4 color schemes jumped in price from $199 to $209. Purple is also in stock again. I assume due to some cancellations.

I'm seeing a huge jump in retail prices on Ali Express. My online Toy Store has it for 568 CAD (410 USD) not accounting for shipping. I was expecting a jump from promo prices, but this is indeed an astronomical price.

And now I'm quite glad that I preordered lol

I have no idea how these stores on Aliexpress that you refer to work, but these prices that you list clearly seem totally out of range.

But Lana Time Shop has the Argentinosaurus now (after the pre-order period has ended) listed for 209 USD. This is a price increase of 10 USD compared to the pre-order price, which I think is reasonable. It is pretty normal that prices are sometimes 5 to 10 percent reduced during a pre-sale or when a new product is introduced with the aim to get in a good number of orders quickly and reach the break even point.

Lana is also very reasonable when it comes to charging shipping costs and they try to offer the most economic shipping option they can find. Of course cheaper shipping options might mean that the shipping may take longer. And if by default they do not ship to your location send them a message and ask if there would be an option. Often they are able to find a way.

They seem also to have a good connection with Haolonggood, because they have been mostly running these pre-sale compaigns of large sauropod models and they also organized some of these polls on social media about preferred pain variants like Stegosaurus ungulatus. When I asked them about this three part assembly of the Argentinosaurus, they would provide additional information and pictures obtained directly from Haolonggood.

Yeah, I might have to go with Lana for this one. I find it funny that the stores on Aliexpress have stocked it at such a premium. From the little research that I have done, they usually tend to offer the best prices. One commenter on Facebook did mention that this spike is not uncharacteristic for Ali Express as the HLG Alamosaurus also suffered a temporary price increase before coming back down.

Lana Time just emailed me the Argentinosaurus sea shipping cost of $75 (which is below what I expected) and I paid it......and I'm glad I preordered it early because I figured there would be a price hike in the future.

Flaffy

Hm very volatile pricing on Aliexpress... Wonder why that is. ???

Regardless, probably a good idea to get this figure early for those who are interested or on the fence; before the pricing surges in the future.

MLMjp

Well, I'm screwed then...

Can't get it earlier and not for a while...

I guess the largest dinosaur takes the biggest hit to the wallet...

At more than $450 I applaud anyone with the disposable income to afford this, but alas, I cannot follow in your footsteps.

Moreso referring to Lana's pricing, which at $210 is still quite reasonable for a fully painted 1/35 Argentinosaurus.

ModelToyCentre on Aliexpress priced theirs at $268, with a good number of 001 available still. Interstingly MyOnlineToyStore was not allocated any copies of the special edition version for sale.

Ah, I was wondering where folks are getting these. Aliexpress has it at $268 with $196 shipping. On Lana Time the shipping is only $65, which in addition to being $50 cheaper, makes a tremendous difference.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Just paid the 65.00 for Sea shipping from Lana, should be around the first of Dec. I really haven't hardly ever seen anyone beat Lana in terms of price/ship.

Perhaps the more recent releases are cheaper on Lana. I just bought my first Haolonggood figure (Nasutoceratops) from AliExpress, and it cost me about 27 CAD with shipping, whereas on Lana, the same would cost me 38 CAD, including shipping.
