I called DHL Express right now. They said the fee will be 12.18 Euros per Argentinosaurus shipment.

That's less than I expected!
So you had 199 Dollar + 70 Dollar shipping?

AND 8 Day EMS sounds very quick to me!

Ship or rail? So the fee is just 4,5%? Curious about that and how that happened ^^

This was EMS air mail shipping. The two giants have arrived a minute ago.

SenSx

It was fast !
And quite low taxes.
I don't remember the price difference between air EMS and rail for Europe...
It's nit written on the order page anymore.
And will the taxe be different as well ?

Mine is by sea.

UPS's website says,

"UPS doesn't have possession of the package yet. Estimated delivery date will be available as soon as we get the package."

Is anyone else having this delay?

If you are in the US and chose sea shipping it is estimated to take 30 days. Mine was shipped via sea on Nov. 16th and the estimated arrival lana gave me is Dec. 20th. It may come sooner but that is the estimate. We will just have to be patient

JOLIEZAC:

In the past, Lana shipped some of my Nanmu figures from California which made me think the HLG Argentonisaurus might also already be in California, which caused the confusion on my part.
Apparently you're saying the UPS label was made in California two weeks ago and is waiting for the Argentinosaurus to arrive from China via ship.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Quote from: thomasw100 on November 28, 2024, 06:41:07 AMPaleofiguras posted that Halonggood will be at another exhibition in Hongkong 6-9 January 2025. I wonder if we get to see the Brachiosaurus / Giraffatitan there. They must have something in the making, unless demand for the Argentinosaurus is so high that they need to produce a second batch right away.
Nice to hear that!  I'm hoping Haolonggood might have another poster showing planned figures for 2025, or new figures on display.  6 January is my birthday too, it would be nice to have something new to do with dinosaurs on that day!

I hope we don't see the Brachiosaurus for a while.

They have just released the Argentinosaurus, their biggest and most expensive figure ever.

Jumping directly into the next big figure could affect sales as people wouldn't have enough time to recover from the Argentinosaurus.

Yeah it was a huge purchase for me. I hope there aren't too many new releases too soon.

Still blown away by the level of detail they managed to pack into this little guy. I was quite surprised by the accuracy of the painting (as in no / barely any sloppiness) on its face, even though the head is so tiny.

I just received my purple Argentinosaurus and it's an incredible piece. In the long history of dino models, this is definitely one to remember!

I live in the UK and I made the risky decision to order from Aliexpress and pay whatever shipping/customs fees came my way. The figure took 25 days to arrive, and I didn't actually have to pay any extra fees whatsoever (which I think was a happy mistake?). I spent £268 in total. I don't recommend doing what I did if you live in the UK because Everything Dinosaur will have these models in stock quite soon now and will be selling them for around the same price without the fear of sneaky fees.
I ordered from Model Toy Centre and even though they don't state you will get any of the extras, I did get them. The Huayangosaurus is an incredibly impressive little model especially for how tiny it is.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted decent inhand images of the purple variant yet, so I might post photos if you guys want to see how it turned out.

Definitely a showstopper and a centrepiece! Please do share images of your copy. 001 in particular seems to vary a lot depending on lighting conditions and camera quality.

I'd love to see images too! Mine won't arrive until mid/end of next month.

Rayeknor

I posted some photos of the purple on page 135 but do not let that stop you from posting yours!

I'd love to see more photos of the purple version avatar_DavidJamesArmsby @DavidJamesArmsby.  I have that one on order from Everything Dinosaur, so I'm delighted to hear how impressed you are with the model!

Can anyone post photos of the green please ?
I'm really begging at that point.
It's ok if pictures are not great, just mainly to have a close look at the head.

I will try to get some pictures in the afternoon and post them. I noticed that on the green the seamlines of the mandible (which apparently is a separate piece) are not as well concealed as on the blue-gray one. They seem to have applied some putty or whatever material to the seamlines and generally this has worked well.

I just took a bunch of photos of my 001 purple Argentinosaurus for you guys. This is my first real attempt posting images to a forum like this so you all have to tell me if it worked properly! XD

I was surprised just how similar the colours were to Haolonggood's earlier "brown" Maiasaura. As you can see, the overall scheme is very similar. I think the lime greens, purples, and browns specifically might be identical.

I was particularly worried about the vast expanses of pale skin on the neck, as they looked unfinished in a lot of the pre-release photos to me. I'm glad to say it looks much better in person. A lot of it has a subtle wash and the whole model is blended realistically enough.

This Argentinosaurus has been compared to every dinosaur model on the market at this point for size comparison, so I thought I'd try to stand out from the crowd by comparing my 1:35 Argentinosaurus to my 1:1 scale Anomalocaris. These two actually now share the top shelf together in my display because they're far too big to go anywhere else.

I hope I have helped you guys out. This is the first time I've gone out of my way to photograph a dino model like this and it was a lot of fun! ^_^
