Halichoeres

From the Bindaree formation in Victoria, Australia, a new species of the arthrodire placoderm Groenlandaspis, G. howittensis. It has a unique--so far--arrangement of plates in its upper jaw.

That's a Groeny?! I thought it was a Bothriolepis or something.

They sold it as Groenlandaspis, but yeah, it looks like an antiarch. It has a lot in common with Bothriolepis but as far as I can tell it doesn't quite match any specific antiarch.
